Best Divot Tool Ever!
A must have divot tool for any golfer, and especially one who enjoys a Cigar on the golf course. Lost one a few weeks ago, and just didn't feel right on the course with a substitute - so I broke down and got another - very glad I did!

Not quite...
Well, I wasn't quite sure what this thing was when I ordered it but decided it was cheap enough to give it a try. First of all, it's worth explaining what all the "functions" are. As advertised, it "Incorporates a ball marker, divot tool, cigar holder, club head cleaner, golf grip saver and shotgun opener." Divot tool with magnetic ball marker, pretty standard stuff only this one is quite a bit heavier and bulkier than what you're probably used to. So much so that it's not comfortable to carry in your pocket. From the picture on Amazon, I thought that the device had a spring clip on the back which would be useful for clipping onto your hat brim or pocket for carrying, or of course for holding a cigar. Unh-uh. What's on the back is just a couple of prongs on which to (carefully) balance a cigar while you're on the putting green -- and you'd better hope there's no wind that day or you can forget about it. The "club head cleaner" is just the tips of the divot tool -- you can use them to scrape dirt out of the grooves of your irons (of course you can do this with any divot tool, or with the tip of a golf tee for that matter). The "golf grip saver" is the same setup as for the cigar holder -- you can rest the handle of a club on the prongs with the divot tool stuck in the ground. Finally, I really had to know what a "shotgun opener" was used for (sounds like it would be great for hunting, but GOLF???). Well, it's an old-fashioned can opener (the kind you had to use before they invented pull-tabs in the 1970's).Why is that relevant for golf, you may ask. They actually suggest it be used to "shoot" beers (yeah, you know, like you used to do at frat parties in college). They even helpfully include in the package the "rules" for shotgun golf, e.g., "player gets 8 strokes or more per hole, then player shotguns a beer..." Overall, a marginally useful tool for golf. I would strongly recommend buying a more traditional divot tool and use the extra money to buy yourself a cold frosty one at the 19th hole.

I had a DivPro previously, very high quality, heavy duty. I purchased additional to give as gifts, and I am not sure if they are knock offs or if they have came down in quality, but they are night at day different. The ones I did receive did not have DivPro labeled on it anywhere, and were a much lower quality material.

Dangerous bottle opener
I bought the DIVPro, never having seen one except on the web, mainly as a combination cigar holder and pitch repair tool. It works very well for ball mark repairs, barely works for holding cigars - you have to balance it carefully. But after the round my friend and I had a couple of beer bottles and no opener. I remembered the DIVPro has a cap lifter so he opened his bottle, but along with the cap came a thin piece of the top of the glass lip - making it undrinkable (possible glass slivers). I've never seen a bottle break like that before - an entire ring of glass about 1/8" tore off the top under the cap. Seeing this, I thought it was a bad bottle and I tried, carefully, to open my bottle, but even so it also tore the top off the glass, slightly cutting my thumb in the process. I think the cap lift design of the item is flawed and dangerous, thus my first 1 star product review.

Terrific value
Quite possibly the best one yet. Hard to beat for features vs. price. It's simply a great value. No moving parts means there is really nothing to break. The rest is up to you... like most of this stuff, the trick is not to lose it.

Cool design, poor quality
Great tool, but not durable. I've owned two and each broke after a season of use. Cool design, poor materials.
