Calais Refillable Fountain Presented in a Luxury Gift Box - Medium Point, Black Ink, Satin Chrome

This pen is bigger than I thought. It had good ink and extra cartridges to refill. I did get a smudge of ink on my hand so I had to start a list over. With ink id have to be careful anyway. I do have a regular pilot pen that is equal as far as the looks of the letters but its just nice to have this pen. I like to write with it.

I am just now getting into using fountain pens and this is my third Cross fountain pen. My first was a Cross Adventura, the second was a Cross Bailey Light fountain pen light polish and lastly this Cross Calais. I am very pleased with the Calais.

There's a reason the Cross name has been venerated for a long time. For a small occasion gift for a friend, I went with something I knew would look classy, write well, and be useful.

After a few years of use, and like all of the Cross pens I have owned, a complete substandard product. So many other better pen co out there...avoid this one!

Terrible pen! Leaks ink everywhere, I have tried cartridges and the ink well, still leaks everywhere! One cartridge lasts one day! I will be returning this pen immediately. Terrible feel to it too, not like the Cross pens I have previously owned. Buy art your own peril.

La pluma en sí está bien. Es elegante y de buena calidad. Tal vez el plumín demasiado grueso. Lo malo es que la unidad recibida estaba usada cuando se suponía que era nueva. Lleva 2 cartuchos de tinta y uno de ellos estaba puesto, medio gastado y con la tinta reseca. Después de limpiar la pluma coloqué el segundo cartucho y funciona bien, pero no entiendo cómo te venden un producto usado como nuevo. No la devolví por que el precio al que la pillé era muy bajo, pero desconfiad de estas super-ofertas.
