They are really going above and beyond expectation.The rest of my review pertains to anyone buying this for a 1997 Wrangler TJ, as newer models will not have my first issue described below. The product instructions state to use the provided fuse tap in your engine bay fuse box in order to instal the daytime running lights (DRL). The problem with the 1997 model is that all the ports in the engine bay fuse box are unswitched, meaning the DRL will turn on and stay on until your battery runs out. You will have to purchase an additional 15-20 feet of 18 AWG wire to extend the fuse tap into the fuse box located inside the car behind the glove box. On the inside fuse box, I recommend tapping into fuse #10 which is the instrument cluster (10A) and it is switched, meaning the DRL come on soon as the car is turned on and go off when you turn off the car.The second issue you will confront is which turn signal light wire to splice/tap into to make your halo(s) turn amber when engaging the turn signals or hazard lights. On the 1997 Wrangler TJ, you want to get behind the front turn signal light and locate the green wire going into your light harness. You can use the yellow wire the seller has provided, connect it to the green lead coming out of the main light plug on one end and use the other end for splicing/tapping. I do not recommend splicing by cutting the turn signal light wire, instead I recommend going to an auto parts store (or from amazon) and buying a pair of wire taps for each side. I am happy with the low beam brightness and beam pattern. The bright beam is brighter but it only is brighter straight ahead and higher, almost as if it is a spot light. You don’t get any more side illumination than with the low beam. Overall I’m happy with them for the price. These are much brighter, whiter light, better coverage, and and the signals in the ring are a fantastic safety upgrade, the DRL help too for more visibility.
