Are the relay contacts normally open or normally closed?

Both 87 terminals are open until relay gets its trigger. Then both 87 terminals get power.

Has anyone checked the dimensions on these relays? listed as "0.56 x 0.56 x 0.87 inches" but the ones i got are 1" x 1" x 2". the p/n matches the add.

I don't write reviews, but I am compelled here....The relay is fine, I ordered 4, and 1 was the wrong type. I communicated back through following Amazon pathway, and the seller, which is Bosch, seemed oblivious that it has even sold them to me! So, no correct replacement... Can I give minus for customer service.....
