Extremely well engineered, they have a safety device which gives confidence in their stability and foldability. Just the right height and whist I have limited mobility I can get them up and down stairs wherever they are needed. Another great aspect is they're non slip. Just perfect, good price too.

Very sturdy step ladders and the handles give you more confidence when using. Wider steps are a bonus too. However, I have to agree with a lot of other reviews and say these ladders are HEAVY! I am mid 60s and far from frail but these ladders are way too heavy for me to lift and move around. If I could’ve found some aluminium ladders with handles I would have got those as easier to move around.

Old wooden stepladder got woodworm and was scrapped. This is a lovely replacement. Siderail/handles ensure we feel much safer using it and the top step may be used to stand your tin of paint bin while you work. Absolutely love it.

Fantastic! Good sturdy set of steps. Some assembly is required and you will need a Phillips screwdriver and spanner, to attach the side rails. It is a bit on the heavy side, but this adds to the sturdiness. Good rubber feet and easy to use. The wide treads are nice and comfortable and when standing on the treads the others are not biting into your shins. As an ex builder, retired now, I'm a bit unstable, balance can be a problem, but these help me get the job done. Fold up nice and flat when not in use and take up no room in the garage. Arrived on time, well packaged and even the price was fair. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to buy a good versatile, safe, set of steps. Hope this helps. xxx

I feel so confident using these steps, sturdy & a good hight for indoor decorating. I have arthritis & have often felt unsecure on ladders. They are not lightweight, but I am able to move them round the house easily, Good value. I have now ordered the 5 step for the garden.

Although the stepladder is heavy, they are well made. The width of steps are really good and I feel more secure using them. The height of steps is great, and will make certain tasks that much easier to do, Cleaning windows, guttering, decorating and cleaning those hard to reach places. My husband is 6ft tall and he can reach ceilings easily (1 step) and guttering (3 steps), in a bungalow, the guttering etc. which helps, I'm 5ft 3in and easily reach things from the 2nd step, don't do guttering. The handrails and crossbar make me feel secure. As we are in our dotage, for us, the steps are sturdy and enables us to do jobs safely and securely. We we are very pleased with our purchase.
