TC417 Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver for TV, Optical Digital Toslink, Volume Control for 3.5mm AUX, RCA, 20H Playtime, aptX Low Latency Wireless Audio Adapter for Headphones, Home Stereo

I purchased these to connect my television to my receiver/sound system wirelessly. The system performs beautifully now, but it was a bit of a challenge to get working properly, perhaps due to a defective optical cable (not the one supplied, but one I had). Now that it is set up, it performs flawlessly. The delay is NOT bad at all, and easily corrected in-set on the television. A few things to note: 1) At first, setting one unit as transmitter on my television, and the other as a receiver (on my stereo receiver), I had some trouble getting them to pair, but I put the units close to each other and this problem was solved. 2) I still had no audio signal at my stereo receiver. To try to trace the problem back, I first plugged the transmitter into the RCA jacks on my TV and plugged headphones into the receiver (this worked). Next, I plugged the receiver into my amplifier using the RCA plugs (this worked), then tried with the transmitter hooked to the tv optical out (this worked), and finally got it working via the optical cable to my receiver. NOTE: During this process, at one point I had the transmitter broadcasting DIRECTLY to my receiver's bluetooth input --- this was HORRIBLE, with a completely unacceptable delay, but this was the fault of the STEREO RECEIVER, NOT the fault of the Avantree adapter. Using an Avantree Adapter, there is virtually no delay, and it works perfectly. Moral to the story - if you experience a delay, it is likely to your bluetooth receiving unit delay, and not due to the Avantree products. You can, if you want, purchase a second Avantree unit as a headphone/stereo bluetooth receiving unit, and this will solve your delay problem. A+ for the product. This is exactly what I was looking for!

What a great little product. Battery powered. Receive and transmit. There's so much you could actually do with this device it is mind-bending. For the small price you cannot go wrong. It comes with all the cables that you could need including The optical cable. There's definitely no regret on this purchase I get that some people may not need the battery powered option but once you have it all it just changes everything that you have in your ability. I could go on about all the options that you could have using this device, I mean geez literally you could take an old boombox hook this up to it and have no power requirements because your boombox would be powered on batteries and this is powered on batteries and you'll be able to Bluetooth to it easily. Sure this may not be exactly what you're trying to do but what I'm saying is it opens the door for a lot of possibilities and it works well.

The sound quality is great with no noticeable delay at all when using aptX headphones. I'd say it is just as good as wired, and works great for watching TV without disturbing others, which is why I bought it. It is important that the headphones also support aptX or you will notice a significant sync delay, and of course the better the headphones the better the audio quality. I'm using this with a fiber "TOS-Link" connection (fiber provided) and it works very well. The only issue I have, which dropped a star, is the adapter shuts off if there is no BT receiver (headphones) connected, so you have to turn it on each time you want to use it. This would probably be a minor annoyance to most, but I found it to be problematic for my installation. It is a great product otherwise!

First, I have a somewhat complicated setup, which only provides greater reasons to use this Transmitter. In one of the photos, you'll see an HDMI splitter that also has RCA and Optical connections for audio out options. The goal was to transmit from the splitter (which also connects to my projector) to the LaguLake Soundbar, 2.1 Channel TV Sound Bar system across the room (see photo). Prior to Avantree device, I had used a similar Tao device that was a couple of years old that decided to stop working after ~18 months which was a bummer. It was a great device; however, I struggled with the audio sync between the splitter and the Bluetooth speaker system at times which was frustrating and annoying. So, with that configuration, the only challenge was NOT following the directions. I couldn't figure out why, when I pushed the 'pairing' button, nothing happened. Well, it helps to turn on the device first, once I figured that out, it automatically went into pairing mode and paired with the Bluetooth speaker system in about 10 seconds and I was good to go! The most important thing to me is that the audio matches the person's lips. The previous device was good; however, it was older technology, had a shorter range, and you could tell that it wasn't always quite in sync which made it frustrating. The distance this transmits and the fact there is no latency and the audio syncs up perfectly through my fire stick was a huge win out of the box! The video is only attached to demonstrate/validate that the audio synch works. The sound is better in my basement so ignore the audio quality - the intent is to show the sync. I'll come back, especially if it does not prove to be reliable, etc. But first look and review, this is solid and a worthwhile investment!

I got this so I could watch television using my Bluetooth headphones. The volume could be a little louder but it works just fine. The audio is crackly when I try and charge it while in use, but the battery life is actually pretty good anyway. I get about three days use before I need to recharge it. I’m happy with the purchase. It does exactly what I wanted and is easy to use.

J'ai acheter ce boitier sur les conseils de mes enfants. Et je ne suis pas déçu !! L'installation est très simple . Mais il faut lire attentivement la notice pour bien régler les commutateurs en fonction de ce que l'on attend de l'appareil. Réception ou transmission... La seule chose qui est un peu regrettable, c'est qu'on doit le reconnecter à chaque mise en route. Mais cela prend 5 secondes. Il manque aussi un chargeur sur lequel on puisse le laissé branché en permanence. pour ma part, j'ai acheté un câble plus long et un petit chargeur USB 5 Volt 1 Ampère. que j'ai branché juste à côté. Pour éviter de tout bouger à chaque fois.

En general recomiendo este artículo, está por encima de otros, aunque cuesta casi el doble que un Logitec, por ejemplo. Tener batería incluida y poder transmitir con él le da ese plus, por eso su precio. Tiene conexión óptica de entrada y salida, toma en cuenta que si lo usas con ella no podrás bajar o subir el volumen, sólo con la entrada auxiliar 3.5. La pila dura bastantes horas, no las he contado pero son bastantes. No lo he probado con audífonos, lo probé emparejando la TV con una bocina Bose 20 Series y la detecta sin problema. Este receptor lo uso principalmente en un Home Theater Yamaha conectado a una entrada óptica y suena muy bien.

Ich betreibe ein älteres Gerät als Sender an einem Fernseher. Das neue Gerät (als Empfänger) konnte sehr schnell mit meinem alten Sender gekoppelt werden. Die Verzögerung ist sehr klein und kann an meinem Fernseher auf null eingestellt werden. Die Lautstärke kan sehr laut eingestellt werden. Den Frequenzgang habe ich nicht gemessen. Die Höhen und Tiefen Frequenzen werden aber gut übertragen. Die Bedienung ist durch die richtigen und grossen Tasten sehr gut. Die Anmutung ist auch qualitativ sehr gut. Mein alter Empfänger war kaputt gegangen, so dass ich einen neuen brauchte. Ich habe mehrere Geräte mir schicken lassen. Kein Gerät war so gut wie dieses.
