You really can't go wrong with these. Bought 2 so my wife and I had 1 each.We used them, walking around the Dales in Yorks and the did the job just fine. Light and easy to change height and very compact when folded back in. For the price, they are well worth buying.

This is my third purchase of different brands of hikers' pole.  I like it well enough, though I have experienced occasional problems with the extending mechanism.  One of my other poles can also be a bit tricky sometimes.  I think I just need to get used to this one.The strap adjusts easily, but tends to slip under stress.  I do place some weight on the strap when walking.Overall I think it's OK, especially for the bargain price.  I have spent more money and got nothing better with other brands.
