How do you read these please? Which colour (blue/green/orange) indicates the temperature? Thanks

Thanks for your question, the temperature strip will change as it heats and cools, and numbers will display to show the current temperature of the surface it is attached to. The thermometer will highlight a number and that is the temperature it is sensing, if 2 numbers light up this is to show that the thermometer is reading in between the two numbers which are lighting up - for example, if both the numbers 20 and 22 are highlighted, the reading is 21 degrees. Can you use these to stick them on metal shed?

I would imagine as long as the surface is clean before sticking them on it would be fine. However I don't know how accurate they would be with the heat from a metal shed sitting in the sun would be. These are fine for measuring ambient temperature in a shaded area. But would be greatly affected by whatever it is stuck to.

Thanks for your question, these LCD thermometer strips are commonly used to check the temperature of liquid by fixing them to the outside of a vessel or container with liquid in, and they give a very good guide to the liquid temperature inside the vessel. Just bear in mind that the thickness of the container may affect the reading, and it is best to site the container away from draughts or heat sources as this will also affect the reading the temperature it displays.
