Best purchase ever! Great quality glass, easy to assemble and worked well keeping the flames from going wild in the breeze. The fit worked perfect

I had the earlier version of this which didn’t have drilled holes for the brackets but instead used brackets with rubber inserts that were supposed to hold the brackets against the glass through changes of temperature and , I don’t know , the movement of the earth on its axis. Instead the brackets fell down, the glass wasn’t held in place, and in a medium strength wind, the glass actually blew off the fireplace and broke. It was some stupid cheap CAD-CAM engineering solution based on no actual reality. This new version which acknowledges that an actual hole for the screws bracing the brackets is ACTUALLY needed in a real world setting of weather and movement- which should have been the first version- is the best version. It’s beautiful and strong. I love it!! It’s a dream come true.

Have had this on my gas fire pit for about 6 months now. Has seen heavy rain, hail, and strong straight-line winds and hasn’t budged an inch. Looks great, fits as advertised, and does get pretty warm after the fire has been on for a while but not so hot I’d be worried about someone burning their hand. Very happy with it thus far.

I hate to take away stars but the four glass pieces aren’t each 90 degrees — something less and that makes for stress in the aluminum brackets that hold it together. The screws that secure the glass have plastic tips which is good, but you can’t really tighten them down too hard without worrying about chipping the glass. We were hoping it would be sturdy enough to lift on and off our patio table with a fire bowl for extra room if need be, but it tried to come apart. Assembled on the table and left there it’s good but I’d still like brackets with more of an angle to line up better with the glass segments, or glass that has a bit more of a bend angle. What I really wish is there was a full circle / tube segment.

Very pleased with the quality of this wind guard. It went together easily, looks and fits as expected.
