I tried it. Did not work well on my CRV. I was surprised because 3M is usually decent quality. I bought a different product by Winunite. It was much better.

Is it gloss white or matte white?

Gloss white - it shows as matte on my 2013 F150 White Platinum Metallic Tri-coat
