9pc 8-32mm Blind Hole Inner Bearing Puller Set Remover Slide Hammer Internal Kit

So please check - are you trying to pull a bearing out from the inside of it where space doesn't allow any other type of puller? If so this is the kit for you - select the largest possible size that fits and use that - if you are right on its limit then consider grinding one down to fit rather than cranking one up to its maximum. I was looking at the 25-30mm Geodore Internal Extractor - 8013560 which was one extractor for £89.99 + the slide hammer £43.99 - so we saved a lot and can do more with this kit. This pulled a bearing out beautifully in a worm drive gearbox (see pic) Not sure about the "couldn't pull a skin off a rice pudding" man, but may well have been user error? I feel that was an unfair review.

I've bought this to remove a blind bearing from a gearbox and it made the job a breeze. The expanding collets benefit from a touch of oil on the threads to make them move more smoothly but once expanded they hold fast. I find if you expand the collet until it just fits into the bearing and then slide it into the bearing contacting one side you will feel when the step where the bearing ends. You can then expand it until it holds. Just mind you don't get any part of your hand between the sliding hammer and retaining bar as it hurts!

As function goes, it does what it is supposed to do. Made from metal, is durable and the slide hammer has enough weightfor removing bearings on the MTB. For a home mechanic, would recommend.

Used the smallest sized bit to attempt to extract a bearing but it wouldn't grip and simply popped out of the bearing when using the slide hammer. Attempted tightening it more, and the gripping part of the tool deformed (it basically broke) - it still didn't remove the bearing either. The bigger sized bits might be more effective, not sure, but the 8mm one was a complete failure.

I bought this to remove a baffle from my exhaust having tried all other options. This worked a treat. Given the fact it cost about 1/5 of what high steet stores were charging for a similar tool I wasn't expecting much, but it feels like it's built well enough. I should have just bought this to begin with instead of wasting 2 days trying with hammers and wd40.

Worked very well to extract bicycle bottom bracket bearing.

Not expensive and will do the job. Seems cheap and cheerful and I'm expecting it to wear out quickly and break on extraction of tougher, larger bearings. Despite my initial optimism they turned out to be useless; wouldn't grip a bearing with sufficient force to extract it. Can't change to zero stars.

Purchased this item and worked first time after using a heat gun to remove motorbike wheel bearings. Wasted money buying an inner bearing puller which didn't work. Well worth the money.

Habe dieses Abzieher Set für meine Motorräder gekauft und schon verwendet. Es funktioniert alles tadellos, allerdings ist die Qualität eher nur "Naja". Aber die Funktion ist da und ich bin zufrieden. Kann man um den Preis (für Hobby Mechaniker) gerne kaufen.
