Walbro GSS340 Fuel Pump

perfect fit. works wonderful. perfect Amp Draw. Nice and quiet

I got a cheaper O'Reilly's unit and it made noise after driving all day, thought it would fail. This new Walbro is nice and quiet, been in service a 3 months now.

Came with all the parts you will need . Has the same connection that the old pump had so it was a plug and play unit. Just change the filter that came with the pump.

Ok I have had the pump in roughly 2 years and it just faild on me yesterday. It's in my mustang gt that I drive once a month and racked up a total of 8k miles. The car is started and ran for 10 mins once every week. I run nothing but ethanol free 93 octane gas. There is no reason why this pump should of failed. There is no way it's a true walbro pump!

Shipping thru amazon always on time, never complaint. The product is excellent, made in USA, great performance. My car is 2000 chevrolet blazer 4.3L v6, you'll feel a different after 1 day driving. A bit noisy outside, but inside the car you won't notice it. Don't expect a smooth run, it's for people who like a performance car.

Pump is stamped 'Walbro' but it repeatedly and reliably failed (got noisy and could only produce 20psi) whenever the fuel tank and fuel got over 95 degrees..... Tried to add tank insulation, take shorter trips, etc , but after waiting for the fuel tank to cool down on the side of the road three times, I ordered a replacement directly from Walbro (now TI industries) for twice the price - but they claim none of their wholesaler prices are below $89, and the GSS340 is their most counterfeited part. I'm guessing that mine from Amazon was a counterfeit/copy. The genuine Walbro pump works flawlessly.

I was hesitant to purchase this highly counterfeited item but believe I received a genuine Walbro product. There is website that shows the subtle differences if you wanna research it, metal pump gears is the big one for example! Tested the pump and it puts out over 100 PSI open with no regulation and regulates down to 40, 50 or 60ish without problem. A great choice for a large variety of EFI applications.

I have had many Walbro fuel pumps and never had an issue. And there is no exception with this one either

I thought from the add that I was buying the pump and its installation kit. The bottom of the ad showed a special price for the pump when the kit was purchased. Unfortunately I didn't use a calculator because it turns out the pump alone price seemed at a glance to be the same as the discounted price and kit. When it arrived, pump only, I checked the number. I am now waiting for the kit to arrive 10 days later with a disabled vehicle and what seems to be a $21. difference and who knows about courier charges. I certainly hope the pump is of good quality, because it probably will be out of warranty by the time it's installed! For those of you who don't know, that comment was a weak attempt at humor.
