Great product
Works like a charm. Used this on my water storage tank. Now I don’t have to babysit it to make sure I’m not wasting water by overfilling it. Turn on the pump and when it gets to my desired level the float cuts the pump off. Once I start pumping water out of the storage tank on the float falls back down it automatically cuts the pump back on.

Works great so switch a solenoid valve
Works great to switch a solenoid valve

Works well as a dry pump warning system
I add these to clients cisterns to stop the pump from running dry and burning out. However a relay sound be used in between the pump and float as the power emitted by the pump turning on will probably damage the float switch

Defective garbage
When I realized the switch I bought a couple years ago was still showing 60 volts in the "off" position, I assumed it had shorted out. I ordered another, installed it, and still had the issue. I continuity tested the float switch to be sure, and it showed continuity on the on and no continuity in the off position. I then spent about a week straight taking my electrical system apart trying to find a nonexistent floating neutral. Unable to find any other issues, I submitted a return on the second switch, got a replacement, tried it, and still 60 volts in the off position. Finally I tried a regular Toggle switch. No voltage. Idk what's going on that these switches are letting voltage through even though they show no continuity, but that was 3/3. Defective garbage, do not waste your time and money. Spend the extra bit for an actually decent one.
