Bench Practices for Watch Repairers Review: Recommend but not if your new to horology - Great book more in depth then the hobby one I first got Review: a reprint of an old book - This book is NOT for a watchmaker! It is for industrial watchmaking, with special designed machines, lathes, factory production etc., therefore the book is about all industrial machines and industrial tools, not for a watchmaker in his workshop. And the title is very misleading. Not to mention that is a reprint of an old book, so I'm pretty sure that most of the machines and tools described there are to be found in museums, rather than in a modern watch factory.

The Best Author of His Time.
This is full off the best information from the best teacher of his time. Its one thing to know everything, but it's a completely different talent to write it and explain it so it can be easily understood. Written by a legend amongst his peers. A must have reference that isn't padded out into an encyclopedia.
