At first, the light strip would shut off after 15 seconds of inactivity, but now, the light strip stays on constantly.Update: turns out, it matters what end of the motion sensor you use to plug in the power cable vs the LED strip. the connectors are exactly the same, but on a whim, I switch things around, and now it works. upgrading my original 2-star review to 4 stars. Still taking a point off for poor instructions. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good light but battery life is short *by E***H on Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2020* The light output (lumen) is good for my cabinet (~4-feet wide by 2.5-feet tall) Color temp (Kelvin) is what I wanted. Motion sensor activates as expected. However, the battery life is short based on the usage of the light. Batteries are significantly depleted to the point of requiring replacement after less then 6-weeks of installation. I've only been in the cabinet about 8 times since installation. My hunch is the Motion Sensor is requiring a lot of power and thus draining the batteries. I own and have installed 4 other similar types of lights and they last about 10-14 Months on triple A (AAA) batteries with much more usage. The major difference is the Motion Sensor isn't the same. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Cheaply made, and directions are confusing *by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 11, 2019* The light strip is pretty standard, but the other parts are pretty cheap plastic. Could easily break. The adjustable parts are not easily adjusted. And the directions are conflicting (images of the box show two different ways to set it up).
