VP Records 盤の登場で、完全に用済みとなった。

76年に Third World から発売された作品。一部がトロージャンからCD化された事もあるが、オリジナルでの復刻はワールドワイド的に初めてではないか？で、ローダ・スコットのClub Saint-Germainのライヴ盤こそ最高のインスト・オルガン作品と確信していたが、ダブ処理された当音源を聴くと気持ちが揺らぐ。特に有名な#2と#10はハモンド好きなら失禁モノだろう。じゃあ、どうしてお前は★1つなんだ！と叱られそうですが、残念な事にLP板起こしマスターだった。スクラッチノイズはまだ可愛い方で、音の歪みと反りが醸し出す劣悪感に萎える。シンセを駆使する#1と#5は何故かモノラル録音。※老舗 VP Records から発売された2枚組CDにも当作品を収録。音質レベルが雲泥の差なので買うならVP盤だろう。→ ■ ジャッキー・ミットゥ : Striker Showcase■ ジャッキー・ミットゥ : Striker Showcase
