This is important because mSATA SSD are only offered up to ~500GB but I was able to find a 2242 B-key M.2 SATA SSD with 1TB capacity. This adaptor does not work with 2280, but that is due to the size limitations within the MBP itself. This adapter works fine. My main gripe, and the reason I gave it four stars, is that although it has vias in the right spots to mount three different lengths of M.2 SSD, it only has a nut soldered in the position for a 2260 SSD. This means before I can use it for a 2242 SSD I have to de-solder and re-solder the nut. A bit annoying since my soldering iron is MIA, and would not be feasible for everyone. ### ⭐ Piece of junk. *by H***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2020* Junky garbage.
