3.5 Quart Plastic Dough Rising Bucket and Storage Container with Lid

As advertised. Reasonably sturdy. About the right volume for Artisan Bread but be careful as use of a little extra yeast will result in dough overflowing bucket. You will also need to drill a hole in the top for ventillation. I used a sharp pointed knife. If you can find a slightly larger diameter bucket you will have a greater margin of error. Delivery was delayed but this appeared to have been due to a post office SNAFU. Listed as shipped but then stayed in a waypoint for several days befor being delivered. Packaging showed some damage but none of this appeared to be due to supplier.

I love these buckets. I make a lot of bread, mostly challah on holidays but also Pannetone'. Knowing when my dough has risen double is important and when I used a bowl, I was never really sure. These are great, I use a rubber band on the outside when I first put my dough in and then I can see easily when it's double the height. They wash up well and are sturdy too. I own 3 because that's the maximum bread doughs I will have raising at the same time.

Works great. Perfect size. The translucent plastic lets you see where your dough has risen to. Easy to mark with whiteboard or permanent marker. Lid covers completely but is not airtight, so won’t pop off as dough ferments. Plastic has no smell at all and doesn’t affect dough flavor. Rugged and pretty easy to clean. There is a small ledge near the top (which is probably a stacking feature), that I find slightly inconvenient when cleaning, but this doesn’t ruin my life. It was smaller than I expected from the pictures, but ended up being perfectly sized for a good sized loaf. If I recall, this was a bit pricey given the size and simplicity of it.

Great size and feels nice & sturdy. Nice to have a lid that fits well. Only downside is the height makes it difficult for short people like me to easily mix dough with the bucket on the kitchen counter. Easy fix is to place it on the table while mixing. I've made more bread since I've gotten the dough bucket than I have in the past year without it.

It sucks

I like this bucket even more than I expected. I make sourdough bread on a regular basis and use this bucket for overnight levening. I love that I can see how much my dough has risen, keep it well covered, and never have to worry about it sticking. This thing is simple to clean because dough just plops right out. This was a good purchase.

The storage is good and strong , but too small to use for dough.

This product works so well. I proof my dough in oven with light on, and the bread rises better and because the lid fits tightly your bread will stay nice and soft. Highly recommend!
