I have a large kayak weighing 140 lbs when loaded to go duck hunting and this cart has no issue with it. I bought this cart to be used to get the kayak from the house to the lake, which is roughly 200yds. About 180ft of it is a steep trail with large roots and rocks. I should have added pics to do it justice. This cart handled it better than expected. Had a little trouble going back up hill on the same trail, but it did it and did not come loose even with a whole lot of jerking and pulling. I was worried I would break the cart doing this, but have not had any issues so far.
