The pan is high grade aluminum so it heats evenly, will never rust and it’s super sturdy. The grate is also well made and sturdy. You’ll want to use a brush with sturdy bristles to get in between the small squares. I love that they are small and the perfect size, food won’t slip through! My first use was smoked salmon in my Traeger. I covered the pan and sprayed the grate with Pam. There is also a good inch of space between the grate and the pan, so that allows for nice airflow. Cooked perfectly! Fish slid right off the grate with slight finger pressure. I used the liquid Barkeepers Friend to clean the pan. Came out just like new! To clean the grate, I used soap and hot water and a brush I bought for scrubbing potatoes. Cleaned up nicely!
