Excellent buy!
Exact fit and function. Runs quiet and blows strong through the vents. Exceptional value for the price. Installation was a piece of cake. Electrical connectors are exactly the same as old motor. Just plug and play. It's getting the old motor shaft out that is hard when rusty. Perfect replacement fan blower motor for the Genteq HW19. AC unit is a Comfort Maker 1 ton.

Works with Carrier AC Units – L164 Part Number
This motor has the same part number as L164 for Carrier AC units and is an exact fit as long as the taps are connected the same as the existing motor. Installation was straightforward, everything lined up properly, and it runs exactly as expected. Great replacement part.

Would buy again!!! Great Product!
Wow! Easy install and saved me over $1k from what I was quoted from our HVAC company. Three bolts and a plug and the HVAC company wanted $1500 hundred to replace. Couldn't be happier - It's only been a couple of weeks but very happy so far.

Direct replacement blower motor works great
This motor was a ‘direct replacement’ for my 2013 Carrier system (Genteq) blower motor. Reconnected with the OEM wire harness + blue and white wires. NOTE: The new motor shaft was an inch or so longer, so I recommend marking your old motor shaft at the attachment point. AC is running great!

Buy the removal tool. Great product. easy to install
Ordered on Monday afternoon and it was here Wednesday morning. I read some good reviews about promptness, but here it is, verified. Also, my old unit's module died (FM19) it was 10 years old so it had a good run. I metered the resistance on the actual motor and it was still good. I could have replaced it but it was more than this entire unit. If you so decide to change the whole motor like I did, get the removal tool for $50. I didn't and I beat on that shaft for an hour to get it out of the fan/squirrel cage. Then just send it back if you want, that's literally all they're good for. This one had a plug that converts from 230 or 115v. Insert the yellow blank for 230 and then your off to the races. Plugged everything in just as it was on my old unit/ took a picture of the speed plugs (I used 2 and 4). Threw the breakers back on and got fan on instead of auto. This send it the signal to calibrate which direction to spin. Once it goes for more than a full minute it's ready. Turn fan back to auto and turn the AC on. Note: when my fan went, it overloaded the compressor and I had to replace the capacitor as well. This is an easy fix as well.

EXCELLENT BUY!
After reading all of the 5 star reviews I did not hesitate to purchase this X-13 ECM Replacement. In central Texas when AC goes out you have 3 problems, dealing with the lack of cooling, dealing with your unhappy wife because of the lack of cooling, and dealing with the blood-thirsty AC company. A week ago, my blower motor in HVAC started starting and stopping in quick cycles, then went to just not coming on at all. I called out a Local, Reputable AC company that has been serving Montgomery County for the last 50 years. They diagnosed that the heat control board needed replacing, I allowed them to replace that. After waiting 3 days for the part to arrive the technician spent a couple hours installing and the HVAC was back to coming on. Little problem though, although it was coming on it was not shutting off (by thermostat setting or manually turning off on thermostat). After another couple hours of time billed, another technician joined the party. He tested the low voltage and determined that the blower motor module (end-cap portion of motor) was bad. At that point I inquired how much they were into me for the time spent so far ($450) and control board part ($400). So, at $850 and still a HVAC system not functioning properly I settled up and parted ways with them. But, not before they quoted me another $500 dollars for only the module and what I would guess would have been another $400-500 dollars in time billed. Mind you, their part was the module alone not the entire motor! I googled the motor and all of it's specifications and came across this Evergreen ECM on Amazon. Close to $300 dollars cheaper than the modular alone they quoted me was a no brainer! (whole motor purchased from AC company was told the part would be over $1000). I ordered the Evergreen ECM on Friday with an estimated time of arrival the following Wednesday, to my pleasure it arrived Monday afternoon before I got home from work. I opened up the HVAC, took pictures of the wiring and removed the squirrel cage/ ECM assembly from my unit. Removing the old motor was not bad, with a little heat and penetrating oil applied to the set screw and shaft I was able to set squirrel cage on a 5 gallon bucket and tap the ECM shaft with a hammer and it dropped right out. After installing the mounting brackets to the new Evergreen ECM, I reinstalled it back to the squirrel cage. Reference photos attached as comparison of the old (original ECM installed in Carrier dated 2014) vs replacement Evergreen ECM. As you can see they are 95% identical with the only difference being the shaft is a little longer which in my case was not an issue as it still remained within the squirrel cage. The C L G N connections lined up with my existing plug connection and was a direct fit (look at your old plug and ensure C L G N connections all align, mine were labeled molded into the plastic of the old plug. The new Evergreen ECM comes with a plug assembly with pigtails for the 12345 speed control connections, I used that and connected the appropriate wires to existing speed control wires (in my case blue and white) my unit uses and capped the remaining 3. Zip tied wiring all up and flipped the breaker, the new Evergreen ECM when first powered will go through a start and stop cycling to calibrate it's proper direction and speeds, after 5 minutes my HVAC was back to working as designed and I saved myself another $1000 bucks. I cannot speak for longevity but I feel good that I will get 4-5 years out of this replacement ECM as the original lasted only 6, 4-5 years is A-OK with me for $230 bucks! As long as you have some mechanical ability, do your homework ensuring specs are the same, buy this Evergreen ECM replacement and you will not be unhappy.

This ecm is a life saver. Oem was twice as much and I love the fact that it us universal for 120v or 230v. Gets the job done! Hopefully it will last at least 5 yrs before replacing.

Great Replacement BUT NO WARRANTY
Great price (by comparison to buying through HVAC service company). Arrived in 2 days. Installation was easy, though the wire harness was different than the one being replaced and in an odd way. So, I used the old harness, which fit perfectly and performed in exactly the same manner as it did previously. The hardest part was disengaging the old motor shaft from the blower due to rust and a burr on the shaft caused by a misaligned lock nut. If not for that, the whole thing would have taken less than an hour. I saved well over $1000 by doing it myself. However, the Amazon Seller, North American HVAC has replied to a consumer question that there IS NO WARRANTY. Their logic appears to be that (my words here) "Hey, you're getting it for less than the rip-off your HVAC servicer would charge. Now you want a warranty?". The terms and conditions on the manufacturer's web site do indicate that the warranty is 12 months from installation or 18 months from manufacture, whichever comes first. Not sure why the Amazon seller does not see it that way. Would I recommend this product? Based on my experience so far, absolutely yes. Just be aware that you have no safety net.
