This one gets real bright on both red and green illumination. A quality prism scope will be relatively expensive but the ability to see a clear reticle is paramount to any shooter. Whether the Athlon’s etched reticle is lit or not, it provides an impressive and useful tool to acquire both short and long range targets.My eyes aren’t good enough to tell me this is inferior to much pricier options. I imagine elite shooters can tell the difference but it looks good enough to me.
