The adhesion could have been a little better, but with a clean chip and a really firm press it adheres well enough. I had one fall off, but it hasn't fallen off again since I replaced the tape. The tape is thin, so hopefully more heat is getting through to the sink, I noticed many other tapes are twice as thick as this.,
