Would this work for an Adora 20" doll?

Yes, my granddaughter puts all her dolls in the strolier whether it's her large doll or her smallest doll, even she sits in it, she 2 yrs old.

What is the length of this stroller when folded? Want to know if it will fit in the box I need to ship it in...

I think its about 24 inches, maybe an inch or so more.
