Review: Great cables -- super smooth problem solver - I picked up a new bike with internal cable routing to the disk brakes. The rear brake action was sticky, slow to engage, and the brake lever did not fully pop back into position. The problem was the cable and housing. Replacing them with the Jagwire kit COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY solved the problem. It made a world of difference. The Jagwire cable itself is super smooth (I think is it pulled thru a smoothing die during manufacturing). The housing cuts to length cleanly, The kit comes with a bunch of ferrules and clips. The housing has a more flexible section (about 15cm long) that handles the sharp curve under the handlebar tape, and that really makes routing easy. You can get the housing is a bunch of colors (I needed matte black) and the cables were plenty long. The kit gets five stars for sure! Thanks for reading, and I hope that the review is helpful.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent quality but don't fit Campagnolo levers.

These are excellent cables both in design and manufacture and superior to any OEM Shimano or Campagnolo sets I have used. I used them on a gravel bike I've fitted with Juin Tech hybrid calipers. One thing to be aware of is that they are most definitely NOT compatible with Campagnolo levers. Jagwire's website does not show any compressionless brake cable kits for Campagnolo, so it looks like they are just not available. Be prepared to spend time with a file reducing the diameter of the pear end, both the large and small diameters--a tedious and at times painful task and definitely not something you want to do on the shop clock for a customer. An alternative would be to toss the inner wires back in stock and sell a set for Campagnolo to be fit into the excellent, compressionless housing but then you might not get the benefit of those slick inner wires that come in the set.
