I was missing this one of the series I gifted to a first grade student, he absolutely loved it. The book came fast and in great shape !

Highly recommend!
My son LOVES these books! He's 7, going into the second grade next month, and is a great reader in general. He loves these books and has just about finished the series. He reads about 3/4 chapters in 20 minutes so he's finished each book in just a couple sittings but he's even reread parts whole waiting for the next to be delivered. I definitely recommend for young readers!

2nd to the last
We are almost done with the series. The kids are digging it but they felt really sad in one point. Spoiler: a little toddler gets thrown into a game. It made everyone feel really emotional. But the story moves fast enough that we got some closure. On to the next one!

The only series that my above-level reader has enjoyed & devoured so far!
This is the first series that my 8-year-old son was even willing to read. I write grants for nonprofits that promote literacy and fight against aliteracy, and I'm a former English teacher, too, so it was hard on me to see that one of my own kids was a reluctant reader--even though he reads several grade levels ahead. I am SO THANKFUL that we discovered this series and this author. He received the first three books for Christmas and read them all before New Year's Eve hit. He got the 4th book in his Easter basket and had already finished it by breakfast the next morning. It makes me incredibly happy to see my child so enthralled with a book series! He doesn't want the series to end--and neither do I! :) Please keep writing more!!!!

Interesting, fun, books for pre-teens or tee
