The “wands” look more like elaborate canes. Not at all like true wands but they are still cute. The quality seems subpar. I expect that the will probably shed. They do come in a nice bag for traveling. My friend was excited to receive them. I’m happy that she enjoyed to get them but having seen them, I would not purchase again. I would imagine that those who are complaining that they fall apart are submerging them in water to wash them. That's why you use a brush cleaner so you don't have to submerge them because that affects the glue. They're cute and heavy and not just for Harry Potter but for all fandoms.
