The 'cut crystal' desgin is actually very pretty. It arrived whole and unbroken. I like that it will hold a lot of punch (up to 12 quarts), we have a big family and so we need a big punch bowl! The benefits of plastic are definitely less weight and easier cleaning (don't have worry about glass shattering). It's big enough you could make a HUGE salad in it too. While I was really hoping for glass, I am actually glad I went plastic.

This is nice, versatile and certainly big enough to use for a large group, but the issue I have is that it scratches SO easily that over time (like, with maybe three uses) it will look old and scruffy. Best advice is to rinse with hot water....don't scrub with any kind of sponge or brush....and towel dry with a soft towel. Ice, use of metal ladles, and of course the natural acidity of some beverages like juice or soda can't be helped. Glass would ultimately be best, but for infrequent use, it's great.

This punch bowl looked a little cheaper in person than the pictures. That said, functionally, it was fine and I had no problems using or transporting it. If you're looking for something fancy, this is not your punch bowl, but it's certainly a great deal for a more low-key event.

Great item , we loved this in our daughters wedding ..you could not tell it was plastic or glass! and sturdy. still have after 4 yrs

Looks very pretty, no problems. Great without refilling for a party of twenty or so. If your guests don't look too closely they might think this was cut crystal.

I am very pleased with this punch bowl. Even though it's plastic, it looks very nice..not cheap! I purchased this to use at my daughter's baby shower. We are renting a hall, so this won't be heavy to carry around. It also will hold alot of punch.

The size of the bowl is fantastic however, it was all banged up and looked super used. Extremely upset about that and I had no time to return and get another one for my child's birthday party. The fact that someone packed this bowl up thinking it was "good enough" to ship is insane.

The size is great, it holds a lot of liquid. By a lot I mean you could probably pour 4-5 2Liters of soda into it. However, mine was sharp around the edges. So while I had to wash the bowl before I used it I got light cuts on my hands from it. Not cool.
