UPDATE: Its been over a year since we replaced our flat/destroyed wheel with a this hard rubber wheel and in that time the other tire has come apart. I should have replaced both wheels at the same time with this set and saved us the money since we now are buying a second one. The wheel has performed flawlessly. We carry very heavy rocks in the wheel barrow, a lot of dirt, wood, you name it. This wheel has taken everything we have thrown at it. I don't know what all the hubbub is about, this tire was a perfect replacement for our rubbermaid wheel barrow. It has better bearings (actually the old wheels didn't have any bearings at all), it is exactly the right size (we replaced only 1 wheel on ours) and it never ever needs air! We did have to replace the bearings with the smaller sized bearings that are included: when putting the new bearings in, it is very important to cover the bearings so that only the outside edges of the bearings are hit. We used a socket, but use wood or whatever. Just don't hit the center of the bearings with a hammer! It will either ruin them, or worse, knock them out of the bearing race and then the wheel is useless.

Came in one package. Fit my 20 year old wheel barrow as of it was new. I like size and face they're hard rubber. No more tubes. Very sturdy. Easily push through the GA clay , but is just as easy in the soft white sand. I like the black wheels better than the white wheels and bicycle tires. If ever needed. Would buy again.

We got these tires to replace the old ones on my yard cart. I bought my yard card back in 1994 and it had one of the original tires and one bicycle wheel! Both would not stay aired up. These tires came with two sets of bearings, were easy to install, and look like good quality. My husband is happy with the quality and I love that I will never have to air up my tires in my yard card again!

The wheel is great moves smooth. I love that I’ll never have to worry about flats again. I’m glad I bought 2 because it’s just a bit bigger than the ones that came with it. 1 star off because it was supposed to have the the 5/8 bearings on it but it had the 3/4 so we had to switch it out and that was not that easy though my husband was able to do it with out damaging anything. I was concerned about that because of some of the other reviews I would suggest that they ship them with both of them out and let people put the one they need in themselves before putting the tire on. It would be way easier. But over all very happy with these wheels

I own a Rubbermaid 8.75 cu ft yard cart. I've had it for years. It came with inflatable wheels. This is the 2nd time I have had to replace the inflatable. These flat free wheels work just as well as the inflatable. I'm using the cart in the yard mostly. The wheel comes with the 3/4 inch bearings installed. I needed to use the 5/8. I used a screwdriver, hammer, and WD40 to knock out the 3/4 and hammered in the 5/8. You will damage the 3/4 when knocking them out. So, be sure this is what you want to do. There is no going back. The cart is as good as new with the wheel replacement; highly recommend.

Exact replacement for the original wheel set. These are 20" (outside diameter) just like the originals. Your cart may have 5/8" axle shafts (as all the most current Rubbermaid carts seem to have) so you will use the supplied bearings to change from 3/4" to 5/8" axles. The bearings (as some have noted) are NOT easy to get out...use a serious hammer and a big screwdriver to drive the originals out...you have to put some muscle behind it! Drive the outside of the bearing from the opposite side and hit it like you mean it. DO NOT hit the inner race...only the outside edge!!!! The replacements go in easily, make sure they are fully seated and square to the opening. Use a large socket or whatever drives the outside only. Always keep plastic wheels / carts out of the sun (be reasonable, don't leave them sitting out for months at a time)....I have some of these carts that are over 20 years old and still going strong.

They work very well. It is a bit of a challenge to change to the correct bearing size.

Perfect replacement for Rubbermaid utility carts. Better than the original ones that broke! Excellent value and well worth the price.
