Straps sewed on backwards! Not repairable.
I don't expect to get a refund because it's too late, through no fault of my own, but wanted others to know that the Rematee I ordered through Amazon came with the straps sewn on backwards! I did not notice this error until tonight--when the Rematee arrived, it had a very strong chemical odor (other reviews also mention a bad odor) so I tried airing it out in the garage for 7 months and then washed it. It still had a lingering odor but I thought I could tolerate it. So I was going to replace my old one (straps eventually get too stretched out) and then discovered the friggin' straps had been sewn backwards all this time! FYI I normally ordered my Rematees direct from the company but in this case chose Amazon. The other Rematees--3 or 4--or more -- did not smell and were sewn properly.

Significant reduction in apnea events and improvement in sleep quality!
I was diagnosed with mild-moderate sleep apnea a couple of years ago and have been sleeping with an oral appliance ever since that while it has reduced the number of apnea events, they were not completely eliminated when sleeping on my back. The Rematee belt has solved this issue by preventing me from sleeping on my back!

Poor quality
Not a good quality product. Doesnโt work and the crackling noice from it can make the person next to the snoring person wake up anyways

It's a little hard to keep the straps tight and adjusted just right so that it doesn't move around and will stay comfortable.
Works okay. It's a little hard to keep the straps tight and adjusted just right so that it doesn't move around and will stay comfortable.

REALLY WORKS if you have moderate snoring or apnea
This ONLY WORKS if you do not snore or have apnea when you sleep on your side. Otherwise, you may need other aids. But this worked the first night for me and I can't tell you how excited I am to get good sleep again. I also had to modify it because they come with 4 cheap balloons that are like a kid's pool floaties. I removed them and replaced them with something firmer and non deflatable...rolled up T Shirts! They do the trick even better but add weight, which is fine by me as long as it prevents me from rolling on my back!

Quite expensive. Hard to take on or off and potentially ineffective unless you modify.
First, I had to get used to the price for what it is. It has similar material and construction to one of those car garbage bags that strap on the back of your seat. The little balloons that go in the back are almost indistinguishable from an air mattress. You blow them up like you would an air mattress. But the strap that tightens it around your torso has high quality and wide Velcro, like a blood pressure measuring device. The first night I felt like a prisoner, because it was cumbersome to take on and off. However, this was an unnecessary problem. It turns out that the shoulder straps are unnecessary. I cut them off. The Velcro suffices to keep it from rotating on my body. Without the straps, it is very easy to take on and off. However, the balloons combined with my gel mattress aren't sufficient to keep me off my back. I fixed that by replacing one of the balloons with a can of soup. Really! If that wasn't enough, I would try three cans of soup. I do use this device now many nights. It is comfortable enough and reduces the chances that I'll wake up on my back not breathing.
