Perfect tiny little houses!
I bought this cookie cutter so I could mass-produce gingerbread houses for a gingerbread house decorating party that I hosted. The houses are tiny and perfect. The scalloped roof edges are super cute! Because they're so small, you can make multiple houses per person to decorate, and eating one feels like a substantial holiday treat instead of an insurmountable challenge like a larger 6" gingerbread house. Here's a tip: I recommend rolling out the dough and cutting your house templates directly on your baking sheet. That way you don't have to worry about trying to relocate the cookies and warping your house pieces. Peel away the excess dough and then bake your house pieces. Immediately after removing from the oven, line up the cookie cutter over the baked cookies and re-cut your lines. This keeps your lines nice and straight since your cookies will likely spread and round out a bit in the oven.

Easy to use and ADORABLE
This is probably my most favorite holiday cutter this year. It's lightweight, and dishwasher safe. The edges are sharp and cut cleanly. I LOVE that it's one cutter that cuts all 6 pieces at one time and that they are perfectly sized. I had SO many compliments on them and we'll definitely be making them for years to come. :)

So Cute & easy to use!
Love it! Worked great. Easy to use. Recipe on package was awesome too. If you want house for coffee cup rim, just remove sold back section of house after cutting and recut with opening section. Also, I used another person's tip of rolling dough on parchment so you don't have to move. Perfect. After cooled, but a touch warm they came apart easy with simple knife cut (I used a good sharp knife).

So many compliments!
Such a cute concept! This cookie cutter worked exactly as anticipated. I used this cutter with sugar cookie dough for an office Christmas cookie exchange and received SO many compliments. The cutter itself seems to be durable plastic, is easy to handle and wash. The pieces it produces creates a house around 2 inches tall. Traditional ginger bread houses are too large to actually eat; I think this cutter creates a cookie house that’s the perfect size to admire AND enjoy!

Fun product and worth the money
We bught this as a fun activity for the kids for the holidays.Pros: Nice size for smaller and larger hands. Recipe is tasty and works well for its intended purpose.Con’s: This recipe requires cooking the initial ingredients, so it’s not a dump, mix and roll recipe. It’s still very manageable though. The dough is a little on the gummy side due to its initial cooking of sugar, so you have to make sure to really push down on the cutter. We had to add more flour than what the recipe calls for, or else the dough was too sticky and soft to work with and the pieces stretched out.Tip: the dough performed better once it had rested on the counter for 10 plus minutes.Tip#2: we had an easier time working with a quarter of the dough rather than half.Tip#3: unless you need a few dozen gingerbread houses, half the recipe will suffice for a fun project.

Great cookie cutter, but…
I’ve had this since November 2019. I like it because it makes nice easy to assemble pieces for kids to play with. I have always used it in conjunction with another gingerbread recipe, until this year. Also, I lost the cardboard and it turned up when we moved. We moved during the holidays so I didn’t make gingerbread and am doing so now. I decided to use the recipe that came with the cookie cutter instead of my usual because it makes so much. Weeeeellllll, let’s just say I’m disappointed that I wasted a cup of butter on that recipe. It’s not bad, it’s just not that good. If you intend to eat your gingerbread cookies, don’t use the recipe that comes with the cutter. Do yourself a favor and head over to pinterest and lookup “Tikkido Gingerbread”. There’s no weird science project expectations and her recipe tastes amazing. Just to be clear, the cookie cutter is awesome, the recipe that comes with it is a waste of time and ingredients.

2 for 99¢
Haven't used it yet, bought it Cus it's so dang cute. ... Just opened it tonight and it has two price tags on it saying "2 for $0.99". Considering I just paid 6.50 for it I'm a little miffed. At least let me live oblivious to being ripped off.

Adorable!
This is a great cutter. Much more efficient having it cut all the pieces at once than having to cut all the pieces separately. The cutter is well made, and cuts really sharply and cleanly. I used my own shortbread recipe and it worked perfectly for these little houses. My one complaint would be that the roof and sides are sized a little oddly. Like a few other reviewers said, it seems sized so that the sides of the house go on the outside, but that doesn’t look right. The front and back pieces should be on the outside with the sides on the inside, but then the roof isn’t long enough to cover the whole length. To assemble the house this way, the roof needs to be a little longer or the sides a little shorter. My solution was simply to trim the sides a bit shorter so I could assemble it the way I wanted to, and with the shorter sides the roof fit great. Overall, though, I’m really happy with the cutter and didn’t mind having to spend an extra minute trimming the sides. The finished houses are just adorable!
