Info: 22, ghost pale, oily and congested/acne prone skin that is prone to dry patches. I apply a topical retinoid/anti-bacterial (Veltin) every night which is helping to clear up my skin, but does make my skin sensitive to most everything. Makeup tends to look patchy in dry spots and non-existent in oily spots. I also have a fair amount of acne scarring on my forehead. Before ordering I hemmed and hawed over which version to go with, Gold or Pink. Seeking out zillions of reviews, I figured that Gold would probably be a better suitm due to the dry patches of skin I tend to have. I ordered this off of amazon but fearing a ripoff, I spent the extra money and bought it directly from the Skin 79 seller, so I know for sure it's the real deal. Long story short: I'm in love. I think the reason I'm obsessed with this is the reason why lots of people have a hard time with BB creams: the color. I have the skin tone of Casper, and finding a light enough color is often impossible; MAC's NW/NC15 are too dark for me. This color of this BB cream, however, is PERFECT. It has a slightly gray tint, but oxidizes and takes on my pinky skin tone. I apply with my hands, letting the warmth melt the product into my skin. I just put a light layer on first, probably only half a pump, and then go back and use it as a concealer. No, it's not full coverage, and no, it does not completely mask the spots, but it does conceal quite well. It makes my skin glow and look NATURALLY healthy, which is more than any foundation or tinted moisturizer has ever done for me. As far as the skin care benefits, it's a little hard to tell. I've been using this since January (five months) nearly every day. My skin felt smooth, and my acne has subsided. However, that could be attributed to the topical retinoid I use every night. BUT, I've gone the past three weeks without it and I have broken out here and there, so may it was helping more than I realized? PS: I think that it's a bit strange that the VIP gold comes with a free sample of VIP gold. It seems silly to market a product that I've already bought. I'd rather have a sample of something new, perhaps Skin79 skincare. Just my two cents.

I have been hearing about BB creams for while, but this is my first time buying one. They are so intriguing to me even though the concept is pretty straight forward (even obvious), perhaps because they come from a faraway land with exotic beauties who age way better than my people do :P... Anyway I figured I should get a legit Korean one in lieu of an American wannabe so I ordered this, in the fabulous gold container. So far, three days into everyday use and I really like it. It does go on gray, as everyone mentions, but the color changes in a few minutes and the consistency blends really nicely and evenly over my skin. After about a half hour it absorbs to be more matte, and the color gets a bit lighter, maybe a touch too light for me. I put bronzer over it, which I wear everyday so no big deal, but I do think this shade isn't quite perfect for my skin. After several hours as the product keeps soaking in my skin color starts to show through more and I don't look as washed out, but the concealing effect starts to wear off as well. But I do really like the way the way the product dries - as someone with oily skin it absorbs to a nice almost-matte finish, but has a pretty luminosity to it that is flattering. I have been using it without concealer but the coverage isn't quite high enough for that, still, as a moderate coverage base makeup I'd say this is really good, especially for the price. I am looking forward to seeing the benefits in terms of wrinkle reduction and spot correction and will definitely update this if/when I (hopefully) do! Still as a basic daily face makeup this stuff is good!

Im so pleased I decided on this product after researching various BB creams, wanting a lightweight product for work / day wear. This product is lightweight compared to foundation and with my 2 buildable applications, this really does even out my complexion and truly covers my dark blemishes and imperfections. Don't be scared by the grey colour on application because it oxidises and although its slightly lighter than my olive skin, I simply bronze forehead/contour face for warmer appearance. I have an oily complexion and it absolutely stays on with a lovely dewy finish. I personally should blot at lunch time to remove oil build up, to keep face prestine. This BB cream is great for youthful look and creating even complexion and brilliant cover, without that heavy foundation feel and stays dewy and in place all day.. Not bad price too :)

This might be one of the best BB creams / complexion products I’ve ever tried. It goes on medium-full coverage and wears into the skin and makes it look natural and beautiful as the day goes on. No dry patches or streaks and it doesnt transfer or wear off. If you have blemishes you want to cover, you might have to wear concealer over them. But the skin finish is so natural and beautiful. Didnt break me out or irritate my sensitive skin. I’m completely impressed by this after spending a fortune trying to find something like it and failing until now. Will definitely repurchase! UPDATE: its been over a year since my first purchase of this and I can confirm this is definitely the best complexion product I’ve ever tried. I will keep repurchasing until I can’t anymore.

Me encantó, se siente muy cómodo en la piel y me queda muy natural, mi piel se ve limpia y sana. Como recomendación para las que son nuevas usando este tipo de BB creams: es para pieles muy blancas y tiene un trasfondo rosado, se absorbe lento antes de fijarse bien a tu piel, por lo que primero podría verse muy muy blanco o grisáceo en la piel, pero después se adapta y principalmente es para darle un acabado natural a tu piel.
