The Home Edit: A Guide to Organizing and Realizing Your House Goals [Shearer, Clea, Teplin, Joanna] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. The Home Edit: A Guide to Organizing and Realizing Your House Goals Review: Lovely; with tips for every space in the home! - A book fit to be in the rainbow’s true pot of gold. The Home Edit guide is gorgeous, bright, and approachable, easing the reader into tackling messes through the home. As a long-time follower of The Home Edit, I’ve been trying to infuse their tips and practices into parts of my home, like my pantry and bathroom drawers, however, this book makes me feel like I have a partner in going room by room to categorize, arrange, and spruce up my whole home. Organizing my pantry and bathroom drawers with Clea and Joanna’s tips for using bins (with museum gel in drawers!) and labels has made a major difference in keeping our home neat even with two little kids. Also, they even organize breast pump supplies! This is unheard of and INCREDIBLY helpful. I’m so thrilled to use this guide for the rest of my home. And it’s absolutely beautiful! These ladies are such an inspiration and super funny. Their voices come through in the book so it feels like you’re hearing them y’all as you read (I’m also excited to listen to the audio book!). Review written by Jeffrey’s wife, Kristen F. Review: Fantastic Book!! - I loved everything about this book! Its relatable, educational, and fun to read! They did an awesome job at making home organizing simple and enjoyable (I also liked the humor tossed in). This should be a mandatory read for any human! No one ever teaches you how to properly maintain a home and space (at least my parents and teachers never did) and it really does work and gives me so much satisfaction!!! I can sew myself referring to this book often when o feel like a space is becoming dysfunctional or cluttered. 10\10 recommend!!!

A Must-Have Guide for Achieving Your House Goals
I purchased "The Home Edit: A Guide to Organizing and Realizing Your House Goals" for myself, and it has quickly become an essential part of my home organization toolkit. This book is a game-changer, filled with practical tips and inspiring ideas that have helped me transform my living spaces. From the moment I started reading, I was captivated by the clear, step-by-step instructions and beautiful, motivational photos. The Home Edit team makes the process of decluttering and organizing seem not only manageable but also enjoyable. The layout of the book is intuitive, allowing me to easily find solutions for any room in my house. What I love most about this guide is its practicality. The authors break down each project into achievable goals, making it easy to tackle even the most daunting spaces. The tips on categorizing, labeling, and maintaining organization have been invaluable, and I find myself referring back to the book often for a quick refresher or new inspiration. The Home Edit's approach to organization is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The book emphasizes creating spaces that are not only tidy but also visually appealing, which has helped me create a home environment that feels both organized and welcoming. Overall, "The Home Edit: A Guide to Organizing and Realizing Your House Goals" is a fantastic resource for anyone looking to improve their home organization. It has made a significant difference in my daily life, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking to achieve their house goals with style and ease. This book is a must-have for every home!

I love this book!
Originally I thought watching the show would be sufficient, but this book actually put a lot of things into perspective and was enjoyable to read. You wouldn't necessarily think a book on organizing would be interesting or entertaining, but this really is. The pictures are also extremely satisfying to look at. Not only are they bright and colorful, but the organization is something you could just look at all day long. The book is insightful, humorous and realistic. I sincerely love it!

Both Home Edit books are exactly the same, just with different covers, titles and isbn numbers
I am very organized and my house is pretty color coded because we have 3 children and a dog, multiple jobs and responsibilities so I have been color coding my organization since the 80s when I was in high school...and now that trait has gone into my grown childrens' homes as well as some of my workplaces that I've left and they have maintained the color coded organization system. This book was not necessarily purchased for the organization tips per se, it was but I was hoping it would almost be like a catalog of organization products used, and I'm a bit of a bibliophile and THE seemed shelf worthy, so I purchased Amazon's recommended THE trio. *So the 2 pictured books did not state the containers and organization products used, so it was beautiful pictures that you could see for free on instagram and probably facebook--so after perusing the first book I opened the second book when it arrived a few days later---still waiting on the third book of the trio. What I quickly realized is that these 2 books are exactly the same with different titles and covers-- wish that would have been mentioned in the description and also why if the books are EXACTLY the same page for page with the exception of cover and title and the isbn number is different--so my book database recognizes them as 2 completely different books by both the titles and the isbn numbers. And to add more confusion, the THE: Conquer Clutter book has a dust jacket that once removed has yet a different cover on it with no title on the cover (and just The Home Edit on the spine) and the pic is a rainbow colored playroom--completely different from the other 2. So, I am not sure why exact books are titled differently, different covers and isbn numbers unless my book was a print error which I highly doubt. Maybe it's just me but this drove me crazy, because I have not just some visual ocd but have tactile sensitivity too (as well as hyperosmia) so sight, touch and smell are HUGE for me, and this purchase sent my anxiety/ocd reeling, because I received THE: Conquer Clutter first-and had to remove the dust jacket because of the texture, and saw the different cover...so I had to print my own dust cover by scanning and printing the dust cover...but because I know the picture under it doesn't match-- it bugged me. So, I thought I would be sending back the first book: THE: Conquer Clutter, and keeping THE: Guide to Organizing, just because of the dust jacket/cover situation though its more work to go in and adjust my library database and note these are the exact same books (so I don't mistakenly purchase in the future). BUT!!!... Then came the smell--- and sadly I could tolerate the THE: Conquer Clutter better than the 'THE: Guide to Org.." so I have to go back to keeping this book [hate the derogatory term clutter so I will just trash the dust jacket all together- and I think the playroom pic is more appealing anyway and having no title on it helps, and I prefer the spine just titled The Home Edit- gold lettering on the white spine. I will obviously put a label on the inside of the cover with the formal title of the book as shown on the dust cover--but at least I won't have to look at it. The smell of the ink (for my fellow hyperosmians) the Conquer book was printed in Italy on very smooth high gloss sateen like paper and the ink smell is reminiscent of Michael's craft store the bottled acrylic paint section; whereas, the Guide book printed in Canada is printed on more of an egg shell semi gloss paper and the ink smell is reminiscent of the paint remover section of Home Depot (smells more like a turpentine smell). This just seemed like a difficult and very chaotic purchase experience--ironically for books on 'organization', maybe it's just me. So, I will await the third (entitled, "THE Life: No Guilt Guide..." to see how that goes)
