I've been (slowly) upgrading our lights to LEDs, and wanted a couple of sensor lights to use in our entrance hall and garage - particularly our garage, as people tend to forget to turn the old-style bulbs off and leave them on all day and night. These have fixed that! :-)Easy to install, they have a motion sensor on the top (the bottom, when installed) that picks up any movement close by. This means no more all-day lights, as these only stay on for 30-40 seconds after detecting movement and turn off once people have gone. The one in our entrance hall can be 'de-activated' by shutting the door into our hallway, and activated by leaving the door open when we want it to work at night.These are good value, and the cheaper cost of running them is a bonus on top of the convenience of the sensors.

These LED bulbs are fantastic. To test them, I put them I put them around our house in outside locations - 2 in glass fixtures facing west under a 12 ft porch roof, south facing the sun, and east in a translucent dome fixture under a 3 ft roof. All of them turn on at dark and off at daylight. They have allowed me to remove timers saving money and electricity and the hassle of what to do when the power goes out. Power on, lights on. They just work! I just ordered two more.

I did not realise that the lamp also had a day/night detector.When I fitted it during the day it did not turn on.The vendor explained that there was this other detector and sent me a video so I could disable it.Doing the mod is a bit tricky but I persevered and now the light turns on and off - regardless of the level of ambient light.The vendor also offered me my money back if I did not manage to complete (or even attempt!!) the mod. Can't be fairer than that.

I didn't even knew these existed until recently. They are amazing and effective. They look just like a normal, bright light bulb but they automatically switch off after about one minute of no movement being detected. They are perfect for the hallways for our house especially since i am always shouting on my children to switch off the lights . Once movement is detected it switches on instantaneously.

We've always wanted a PIR light in our porch, as we live at the end of a dark 'spur' of residential road, but to change the existing fitting would mean ripping off large chunks of uPVC fascia, and the faff & cost have always been prohibitive. This was the perfect solution. It lights up at just the right point, as you're approaching the door, is very bright and stays on for long enough for you to find your keys, go in & shut & lock the door. Very pleased.

These motion detecting light bulbs are great for using where you don't have easy access to a light switch or can't see it. We've put one in a crowded walk-in cupboard and the other in the loo so that you don't need to worry about switching it on.They are light-sensitive, so don't switch on when there's sufficient light from another source, such as bright daylight through a window ☀. Be aware, they are very sensitive, my cat can activate it 😺They only stay on for about a minute, so if you're needing it longer just wave an arm or make a movement. Unfortunately there's no way of altering the default timing via an app or suchlike. If you want to do that you'd need to buy a more expensive smart bulb (there are plenty on sale on Amazon).You will need to leave the light switch in the on position at all times. I found it useful to put a label on the light switch so that visitors are aware not to switch it off (see photo).

I was about to replace the light outside as the sensor had stopped working. So I kept forgetting to turn it off in the morning . This product is just the job, would recommend it to anyone, and rather than have bulky timers have put it on my table lamps, will be buying some more.

Light up my life. They even work very well with Alexa. Automatically They detect anybody in the room. Automatically light up the room. A brilliant Lightbulb. I notice there is a Something like Light beans coming from the bottom of the Infrared projector And detector when it is off. But then I realised This is infrared. And nobody else can see it Who came into the Villa. As I asked my friends. So I found out that I have a gift. The infrared beams fill the room Detecting Any ones or anything presents, including your animals. I find this product excellent. Neither areas where I wanted to walk when I did not want any light to turn on. I just painted over The lens projecting the infrared beam give me a corridor That was not The Detecting. Great product highly recommended. Great for children's bedrooms. Grateful whole ways. Great for the kitchen. Great fit inside the wardrobe. Grateful Hall stairs and landing. I can go on its great for lighting up the office and grateful lighting anywhere you need it. Opportune quality lightbulb.
