The color and thickness of the lantern pieces are very vibrant and true. Its size is bigger than expected, but what I was hoping for- true to size. It might seem difficult to make, but if you just start piecing it together it will automatically form. Takes about 2 minutes per lantern. Easy to take apart and save for next new year’s.

It’s a little bit confusing when assembling it at first due to no instructions. But very soon I figured to cut all pieces apart then just attach loose pieces next to each other. No tools or glue needed. Very easy to assemble.

No directions to make them. Poorly made.

No instructions, so you have to feel dimensions or to have some experience in origami projects to assemble this. Also it needs glue to keep these lanterns together safely, otherwise it will fall apart. Here are some hints: first assemble one half with petals facing outside (pic.3), glue it together with the glue gun from inside (pic.2), then assemble the second part the same way leaving a window (pic.1), then connect both parts gluing each side from inside. The final part is covering the window and gluing it from outside. I have it on my patio as a tea room theme, and it looks beautiful, if you are patient enough to put this together.

Easy to put together (just look at the photos and you can figure it out). Glitter didn’t fall off. Only thing missing was the string but no big deal since I had some available.

If you have the patience to figure out how to put it together than this is for you. Absolutely no instructions on how to assemble. It's tricky to get the lettering to face in the proper direction. Also the strip to hang is super short. Once you get through the difficulty of setting it up it is beautiful.

When I first purchased this I asked if this would be sturdy outdoor because I was a bit hesitant of the material. I ended up stapling the flaps and it has withstand east coast weather: wind, snow, rain. It was confusing at first to put together but once you get the whole picture it was pretty easy to understand. You have to follow the direction based off the Amazon pictures because it came with no directions. As much as I really liked this product I felt that it could have been a bit more inexpensive. I won’t be able to reuse it since I stapled it, but if you don’t staple and use it outdoor you can definitely disassemble it and store it flat. Overall I am happy with the purchase!

Exceeded expectations in terms of quality. Color is a rich red. Good decoration for CNY.
