Broken Talavera Mexican Tile in Mixed Desings A1 Quality Tiles, 15 Pounds, Best Deal on Amazon!

I was so exited to receive this box of Talavera tiles to use for my mosaic stepping stone projects. The information about these stated that they were "broken", but most of them were unbroken, which was totally not a problem for me, as I did that myself with a tile nipper. I even did some "fussy cutting" to make some round pieces for the middle of the stepping stone as a focal tile. The assortment was excellent and the price of the tiles was very affordable for me. I am very happy with this purchase and will be back for more in the future, as I would like to do a mosaic tabletop.

I just purchased a 15 lbs box of broken tile for a project and I must say that most of the tiles were not broken except for a few of them. Since I needed smaller pieces I had to break them. I received an assortment of colors which made the project versatile. I finished them all not a piece wasted. I still need a few of them so, I might buy a smaller box to complete the project. I am completely satisfied by the colors and patterns. I will consider buying more later on due to the value for the money and functionality. The tiles size where 4x4, but as I said I broke them into smaller pieces to achieve the look of mosaic patterns.

I bought these to do a mosaic project around three concrete blocks. I need one box per block. I wanted to see what I was getting before buying three and having to return three. I was expecting what I saw in the picture, broken tiles. To my surprise the box came without one broken. The colors and selections are awesome. I ordered another one this box with half broken. I’m ordering my third and depending how that comes in I’ll know my pattern for each block. Not only would I buy again but I bought X3. Oh and Delivery was next day. I’ll post pictures of project when complete.

Just received my tiles! Great assortment and all were intact but two. I’ll break them up and they’ll be wonderful for my project. Will buy again!

This is nice tile but on the expensive side, I broke it up and put on two 24inx24in octagon patio tables, one not grouted yet

The cabinet shown was purchased preowned 15 years ago. The previous owners had it in raw wood. We bought it to store small garden/pool tools and keep our outdoor stereo EQ. After being out in the weather including 2 hurricanes…the distress South of the Border look had reach beyond the acceptable rustic style and I used some paint and those wonderful tiles to bring it back from the dead. Can’t say enough on how happy we are with the results. The tiles were mostly whole but a hammer quickly fixed that. Saved some whole ones for the top corners and broke the rest. I also purchased some solid color broken (really broken this time) tiles to add color. This is the first of many project I intend to complete. Hope this gives you some ideas. I had fun doing it, at 70 years old and never tiled before. If I could do it any body can. Wonderful product.

My expectations were that this collection of tiles would be colorful and ready to start designing with. Not at all! Half of the tiles were a boring blue and white, the rest were colorful but not enough to do much with. I'll shop elsewhere to find a better source. Very Disappointing!

I love this tile. We are remodeling our older home on a tiny budget, and this was an excellent choice for our new backsplash/countertop. The tiles are uniform in depth, which eliminated leveling problems,and came with a nice variety. This is a five foot counter base, and I used about 1.10 boxes for the counter and backsplash. I can finally paint over the 1980's wallpaper. Expect several whole tiles in your box.
