It looks and feels much higher quality, with a flexible plastic cord and well formed ends. Everything works as expected: my android phone accepts flash drives, keyboards and game controllers when they are plugged into this cord. The cord transfers data at USB 2 speed. I found that the micro usb end was a bit on the tight side, but the usb-A female end was the correct size. There's really not much more that can be said about the cable: everything works as expected and the quality feels fine. Plus the 2 pack is a pretty good deal. Handy Dandy. I mean, need I really say more. That phrase has been getting the message across for awhile. Okay, I'll say more. I don't like cloud and streaming is a joke unless you're around Wi-Fi and I mean private Wi-Fi because public is never fast enough. The obvious solution was to expand the memory on my Droid Turbo 2 with a micro sd, but wait! Those little cards are sensitive and you can't just remove it and reinsert it every time you need to add something. In comes the Ugreen OTG cable. Download a file explorer, like ES File Explorer, insert this handy dandy cable, load up a flash drive, and you're in business. This works perfectly and as a bonus, unlike most OTG readers that are either a solid stick that are easy to bump against or one that requires removing your protective case because they are so bulky. This is a simplistic short cable with ports on either ends. No worries about bumping into stuff and no worries about removing the case. You can use this to upload what you need or leave it in and just read right off the flash drive. Sometimes less is more and Ugreen understood that. I'm very happy with this purchase and you will be too.

Cord worked as advertised. Plug and play. Plugged into my Samsung tablet so I could watch saved movies that was on my USB flash drive. Device seen USB with no issues. Played movies with no lag. Only one issue though. Maybe minor to some but.... because it is a cord and not a button USB adapter I thought I would just leave the cord plugged I to my device when I was not using it so I would not misplace it. Even though I just charged my device to 100%, 2 days later my tablets power was completely drained. Screen was off and Flash drive was not plugged in. For some reason leaving the cord plugged in completely drained the battery in 2 days. Thought it was a fluke. Usually my device will hold charge for almost 2 weeks if not used. Charged it again, let it sit for 2 days and charge only dropped 10%. Plugged cord in and repeated test and dead in 2 days. So that being said. Product works perfect for intended purpose but advise the cord be removed from device if not being used as it may drain you battery.

Just to begin, I bought and paid for this product, and was NEVER asked, or bribed, to give a good review in turn for a free product. I tend to review everything, and always honestly. I've only had this cable for about a week, but I can definitely say the this cable seems to be highly compatible across phones. It allowed me to connect, and then format to the correct file system, a Sandisk 64GB Slimfit USB 3.0 flash drive. It's fairly new, very small, and holds 160mbyte/s speeds when transferring to it, from a PC with USB 3.0. So, pile that situation on top of hoping for compatibility with a Galaxy S7 Active (Snapdragon, USB 2.0) on Android 6.0.1, and I won't lie, I wasn't sure this cable would work with what I have. I was wrong, it detected that drive immediately, and my phone let me know it needed to be formatted. (Didn't take long, but the incompatible file system caused my phone to corrupt all the data). No big deal, and absolutely my fault, I let Android format the drive. It was done in no time, and I've had no issues since.

I purchased a single one of these cables in white. I tested the product by plugging an 8gb flashdrive into my LG G4 running Android v6.0 and it worked perfectly. I was able to view photos that were located on the flashdrive, and I was also able to copy photos and videos to the flashdrive without any issues. My one complaint with the cable is that the USB input and Micro USB plug seem a little "odd". The USB input feels a little tight but that could be on purpose in order to prevent a USB from falling out of the cable. The larger issue is with the Micro USB. The plug will go half way into a device before it starts to resist. This is normal with Micro USBs, but this cable "resists" very hard, almost to the point where I wondered if I had it plugged in all the way. I pushed the cable in harder and it clicked in, but it was a little worrysome. Since then I have not had to press as hard, but none of my other Micro USBs require as much push as this cable.
