Well, do they do, but only in the way you want a straw to suck!I bought these as we are trying to be more eco-friendly and straws are rightfully a hot topic right now for the eco brigade. They're a one use item for the most part, but they're such a simple thing to make eco-friendly that it begs the question why has it not been sorted already.I received these yesterday not expecting a lot, I've had the paper straws that some restaurants are now using but found they do go soggy fairly quickly. What grabbed me was the promise of these not doing that, and they don't. They last so much longer than I expected. They're also pretty colourful which is a great thing I'd you have kids or what to dress up a cocktail etc.An extra bonus was that I was expecting these to arrive in a plastic bag but nope, the packaging is 100% cardboard which is fantastic as well. I don't think even the most hardened eco warrior will find any fault with this product.Extremely pleased and will be buying more once I've used these up. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great and non soggy *by J***R on 9 December 2018* These work really well, I always loved the idea of moving away from plastic but in restaurants and bars the straws would always be soggy and stick to your lip these don't and I managed to use throughout the day no problems!
