I had such high expectations of this book as her last two were life changing. It lacks substance (often just one sentence on a page) and it lacks focus; it’s filled with musings that have no point or connection with the next one.It’s filled with platitudes that I could have got from any motivational meme that I came across on the internet on a daily basis. I expected more from Jen Sincero, mainly because she put herself head and shoulders above any other person of this genre out there. Her no-nonsense, practical approach was so refreshing in a time where everyone in her niche claims to be able to help you reach six-figures when they are unethical and usually broke themselves. She was different, she spoke from the heart and gave you a guide map to follow to make a difference to your life. I respected her so much for that and if I’m honest put her on a bit of a pedestal. Her second badass money book just reaffirmed that status for me.I am so disappointed that this book appears to be nothing more than a cash cow that trades on her earlier successes. I understand the premise of the book that you can dip into it at any point, but for heavens sake at least give it some structure and band it together in some strategic way that will at least attempt to point you in the right direction if you need to be motivated.What’s so sad is that I am a huge fan; to such a degree that I have her last two books on kindle, audio and paperback. I have read/listened to them all several times. I loved them and learnt so much from them.If you hadn’t already gathered, didn’t hit the mark for me. But this book is a straight to the point motivational book, which is all it claims to be.
