How do the lights know what is on the TV screen in order to match up?

I use my computer and the Hue Sync app, it does try to match colors on the screen, and you can position the lights in your room in the hue app as a Entertainment group. Where can I buy a second adapter if I want to use the light bars separately?

I have a ton of Phillips lights. This is my first time with these bars. I did purchase the hue sync box that I returned since I have a smart TV and don't use chromcast or anything for streaming (hoping these aren't requiring the sync box) I think if you want to use these separately, you would go into the app and go under labs. Create a lab for one of them and the 2nd to do something different. I think that will solve your issue

Does this work with 220v?

I guess by mistake but they have rated it at 240v on this page. And Philips itself rates this product to wok between 110 -240v. So there you have your answer, they should work at 220v.

If mounted on the back of a TV, can these light swivel?

I think you’d need a custom mount. The attachments are pretty static
