Hands down the best ascorbic acid. I’ve purchased it over 13 times now and continue to keep it stocked in our home for daily family use. We use it for adults and even our young children, especially during times of illness. During sickness, I’ve personally taken higher doses (up to 20,000 mg in a day, spread out), and found it very helpful for getting over symptoms quickly. I always make sure to take 1,000 mg or less at a time, since larger doses at once can cause stomach upset. For me, smaller amounts taken frequently throughout the day works best. One of the biggest advantages is how easy it is to mix into drinks. It has a naturally sour taste, but it’s virtually undetectable when added to something like orange juice—even my kids take it without noticing. It’s also very versatile. We’ve even used it to make homemade vitamin C gummies, which makes it even easier to give to the whole family. Overall, this has become a staple in our household for immune support and general wellness!

My favorite L-Ascorbic Acid powder -- dissolves quickly and doesn't require much stirring compared to NOW and other brands I've used and is the ideal brand for people with food sensitivities. Plus, this Ascorbic Acid has never been oxidized upon opening the bottle as certain other brands have been. Add a slight amount of lemon juice, about 4 drops of stevia (like Sweetleaf Organic), and a full serving of Ascorbic Acid and you've got a delicious and health-promoting mock lemonade. Or add a small amount of lukewarm water to 1/8 tsp - 1/4 tsp of the powder, stir, and optionally add a tiny bit of aloe or Vitamin E -- now you've got a cheap but very effective face mask to heal your skin. (This will sting slightly, but your complexion will look lovely afterward! And you can always neutralize it with a 10% baking soda-water solution if you like, though it's not necessary.) This product is now recommended in a new nutrition book called It's Not the Cans: The Best Nutrient Balance for a Stronger and Healthier You This is a potent product. 1/2 teaspoon equates to 25, 100 mg tablets in a single dose. I bought this product primarily to neutralize the chlorine and chloramines in my bath water. Based on the science, 1000 mg of vitamin C will neutralize 100% of the chlorine and chloramines contained in 100 gallons of water. This equates to 10 mg of vitamin C to completely neutralize the chlorine and chloramines in 1 gallon of water. The average bathtub holds approx. 30 gallons of water when full. This means that on average, you require only 300 mg of vitamin C to neutralize the chlorine and chloramines in a full tub. Of course, when we leave room for our body we do not completely fill the tub. ==> Let us assume we place 25 gallons of water in a tub to bathe in. That means we would need to add 250 mg of vitamin C to the water to neutralize 100% of the chlorine and chloramines. That equates to 1/10 of 1/2 of 1 teaspoon of this product!!!! ==> Let's say we want to be certain because your area may use a little more chlorine and chloramines to treat the water. So we decide to double the dose. This means we would add 500 mg of vitamin C to 25 gallons of bath water. According to the label there are 181 servings (1/2 teaspoon) in this container which means even at 4 times amount needed for a 25 gallon bath, we have 362 baths in each bottle (that is after rounding up to a full 1/4 teaspoon)!!!! Not only do I bathe with this product, I also add a little to a large bowl of water when I choose to wash my hair in the sink. I use a cup to scoop out water to rinse my hair. After doing this and installing a chlorine filter in my shower, my scalp has completely stopped itching!!! Please note, vitamin C may cause hair des to fade quicker. If you choose to drink this product, I strongly encourage you to stay below 1/4 teaspoon per day. Please consider that 1/4 teaspoon is still 1200 mg of supplemental C. I get my C from strawberries and pure, organic orange juice as well as via a high quality multi-vitamin (Opti-Men). Excess vitamin C intake (300 mg or more) can be a causal factor for insomnia. You do not need much to be healthy. I highly recommend bathing in this product, shaving with this product added to the water, and washing your hair and face with this product. I also recommend installing a quality, chlorine shower filter. Please note that chorine filters do NOT remove chloramines. That is okay because removing the chlorine is still great for your hair, skin, and lungs. In case I forgot to say it, BUY THIS PRODUCT. You will not be disappointed.

I like this one! I put a little in my water and it's not sour. I haven't had any stomach troubles with it either, even with a few servings. I also use it to make my own lysosomal vit c and it works really great! It's so good to have on hand to help keep the immune system up. It's easy to put in my drink daily and blends right in with no gritty texture at all.
