Dr Oetker Milk Chocolate Mousse, 3.1 oz, Pack of 6

Great quick tasty mix for Chocolate mousse. I use two packages in Death by Chocolate which serves 10. Easy, on hand, not expensive.

Great in quality and taste.

This is very easy to make, tastes rich, and stays that way even using a skim or fat free, lactose free milk. This type of texture with no cream is magic. Tastes more decadent than what the calorie total shows. Sometimes to dress it up I'll add a little espresso powder with some chocolate shavings on top. Add a little whipped cream and it's restaurant worthy and looks like you spent hours on in the kitchen.

Makes a terrific dessert.

My grocery store used to sell this but stopped carrying it. Now Amazon is my go to. This mousse trips up perfectly with 2% milk and tastes amazing with out the extra calories of cream. It’s a perfect consistency and oh so tasty

The mousse is light, but the chocolate flavor could definitely be stronger. I like using it as a cake frosting which is so much lighter than the buttercream frosting. Then I keep the cake in the refrigerator if there is any left.

Not sure why, but difficult to find this easy and delicious mix in regular chain grocery stores. Simply add milk and chill; it comes out perfectly every time. Add a few berries and perhaps a small cookie along with a leaf or two of fresh mint and your friends will think you an accomplish dessert chef. Reasonably priced and fast receipt, too!

Works just fine according to the recipe, which calls for milk. If you want a real treat, substitute half-and-half, or cream for the milk. Either way, I was surprised at how good it tastes and it’s nice consistency.
