Word to the wise as well do not use Terminals use a power block that has a set screw for tighening like XSCORPION RT00P Dual Ring Terminal with Adapters would be a perfect example. **Q: Will this run if battery volts go below 10.5?** A: Kisses manual for sw1220 says under voltage shutdown is 10.5 volts reset recovery 11.8 volts.So answer is no. **Q: Does this unit require a 200 amp fuse to be installed between it and the battery?** A: It would be a REALLY GOOD idea to install a 220A fuse or circuit breaker. I did. **Q: if this is on my yacht, and I have it on while out of dock. Do the engine alternators charge the batteries so that this doesn't run them down?** A: It depends on your setup. If you have one set of batteries for both the cabin and your engine starting, then the answer is most likely yes depending on whether your alternators wattage is equivelant to the wattage output being used by the KISAE. If you have cabin batteries being charged by solar panels or a wind generator, that are separate from your engine starting batteries then the answer is generally no. You can have a setup that allows your cabin batteries to be charged by either solar, wind generator or engine alternator and then the answer would be yes under the same caveat of wattage in virsus wattage out. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ... years to power my key machine (and other things like anyone grinders) with no problems at all *by C***. on October 15, 2017* I'm a locksmith and have used this invert for 3 years to power my key machine (and other things like anyone grinders) with no problems at all. It won't run the 15 amp 7" grinder to well, this is because the actual peak draw is higher than that. As for it being a pure sine wave idk, but my key machine ($7k) and for pure sine wave and this machine has worked perfectly... I am not an electrician and don't have enough grasp on the dynamics of electricity to secure whether or not it is our is not a "true" pure sine be inverter, but I can say with certainty that it seems my machine well, and this machine only calls for a pure sine wave due to the tolerance (.001") needed to accurately make different keys. So that's it, if it isn't a true stone wave or real, pure sine wave inverter, it will work just fine for anything that calls for one and that is what matters to me. For the record I have friends that have burned out their $7k key machine, the same one I have, using modified sine wave inverters... Those are the facts, you be the judge, I hope it helps! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Inverter *by T***N on February 26, 2021* People want to use inferior cable leads to hook this power inverter up, then Bitch about it. How about you use your head and read what size wire you are supposed to use for this. I went a little more than what was recommended and used the TEMCo 1/0 Gauge AWG Welding Lead & Car Battery Cable Copper Wire for the battery to inverter leads. Guess what, no problems with the inverter, go figure HUH!???? If you want to be cheap about it, go to Harbor Freight and buy one. Good luck, over and out. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works for a plug in situation not for a distibution panel *by M***C on August 19, 2020* The inverter is as advertised with good instructions. Plan your installation carefully and be aware this will not run an installed A/C system, it will only provide a set of two GFI outlets that can operate standalone equipment. I have only had the system in place for a couple weeks and have not had any issues but have not used it much.
