For the beautiful Black woman who aspires to go natural, this is a great texturizer to prepare your hair for the curly or wavy look and it makes your hair easier to comb. After the texturizer and for daily care, I usually moisten my hair with my hands before massaging in the curl pomade / pudding. No need to get your hair sopping wet...you just want your hair to soften a bit. Use your fingers to style your hair, gel your sides or use a headband and you're good to go. No more salons for me. I do not miss the many hours of sitting and waiting and I absolutely hated sitting under a dryer. My hair air dries quickly and that's good for me.

I have very coarse, natural hair with tight curls. I cut my hair to about 2 inches before using this product. I have used similar products over the years, and they never turn out as I hope. After using this, my hair looked more straight than curly. It took a few days for waves to form from root to tip, but no curls at all. I like the waves. I am not sure if this product gave the waves or if it was the other hair care items that I added. Either way, my hair no longer feels like steel wool, so I am good with that.

Sorry guys I’m a black woman and I have gotten my hair cut really short I tried luster pink but it’s not for my hair type it dries my hair out I have really fine and soft hair.

I was hoping to stretch my curls, idk if it's because my hair texture is already pretty. When I was natural for 12 years no chemical I was against this. After relaxing my hair for two years recently and cutting the perm out in February, a friend mentioned they used a texturizer; I decided to try it out. Not thinking maybe it's because her hair is a courser texture. It reminded me of relaxing my hair, smell, feel and all. If you have natural hair, this is no being natural. It's like a relaxer. No way, it's a whole NO for me. This relaxed my hair. Smh. Never again.

I have used this product in the past, so I had no problems ordering it from Amazon. (It's difficult finding this product and products like this in local stores).
