Katadyn Water Filter's BeFree Tactical, Black, 1 L

Good filter. Fast easy and portable and I officially didn't die or get the squits.

Received the item fast and easy. Goo quality but I had to send it back as I was mislead to believe that it was made in Switzerland but in reality it is made in China. I will not mind if it was at a Chinese price but I find it little bit cheeky to pay such a price for a item that it was so cheap made. I already own a Katadyn pocket filter but I was looking for a more compact lighter version. Highly recommend this brand but one must pay attention to the manufacturing country of some products when buying. The quality can be inferior to the original one and this is not a thing to mess around with... it’s your life on the game at the end!

Bought for a multi day camping/hiking trip in Exmoor and Dartmoor. Really simple to use, with a very quick flow rate of filtered water. Allowed us to save carrying extra water weight when we were near streams, but the 1L bottle also gave us an extra option to carry 1L of unfiltered water if we thought we might need it.

Usually works well, I only use it for clear flowing water that I’ve collected up high on hikes and camping trips. I wouldn’t trust this (or most other water filters) for any more questionable water sources. There is often an issue with the flow rate through the filter, not sure what causes it. All in all lightweight, packable and good value.

Great for long walks where you may need to access water, but no taps. Really works well.

Let's start with flavour yes it's made from plastic it will taste of it if you don't wash it then use lemon juice and water and freeze it.but at the end of a the day it keeps you hydrated on a long hike and that's all it's meant to do if you want spring water you carry it.cpl down sides the filter only last 1000l and there expensive to replace but unles your hiking every day and using all the time you should get a few years use out of it if you clean it regularly.the bottle is pretty robust so if you damage it I'd say take better care of your kit.

Expensive but a most if walking and you can’t carry all the water you need.

I was worried when I ordered it that the outer skin would be too fragile, however, it's a really tough membrane which has proved itself very capable of putting up with some abuse!

Ich gehe gerne in die Berge, schwitze viel und habe viel Durst. Aus Brunnen, Gebirgsbächen, Viehtränken und anderen Bergwasserquellen zu trinken, habe ich mich lange nur im Notfall gewagt. Zu groß ist die Angst vor Durchfall und anderen schrecklichen Krankheiten, die verunreinigtes Wasser verursacht. Ein Wasserfilter musste her. Viele Nachmittage lang habe ich Rezensionen und Tests gelesen, Freunde und Foren befragt und selbst Preis-Leistungsvergleiche angestellt. Am Ende ist die Wahl auf den Katadyn BeFree Tactical gefallen und ich bin wirklich glücklich mit meiner Wahl. Die Flasche ist super leicht und lässt sich mit einem Clip für zwei Euro am Brustgurt meines Rucksacks befestigen. Befüllen funktioniert in fließende Gewässern super einfach. Trinken ist so simpel wie aus einer normalen Sporttrinkflasche. Alle Komponenten sind hochwertig verarbeitet, Katadyn ist Spezialist auf dem Gebiet der Wasserreinigung. Der Filter taugt für viele hundert Liter und kann daheim leicht gereinigt werden. Das ganze System ist ein treuer Begleiter meiner Bergtouren geworden. Leider ist die Flasche alles andere als billig, aber Schweizer Qualität hat eben ihren Preis.

Swietnie sprawdzaja sie w kazdych warunkach, niezaleznie od sytuacji. To moj pierwszy zakup tego typu, jestem bardzo zadowolony. przed uzyciem polecam wyparzyc butelke ciepla woda z cytryna, aby pozbyc sie specyficznego zapachu, ktory towarzyszy nowemu produktowi.

Très efficace, solide et bon débit

Sadece bir kez kullanabildim. Net hatırlamıyorum ama en fazla 2 litre su içmişimdir. O kadar bile olduğunu sanmıyorum. Bu kullanımdan sonra aradan zaman geçip tekrar kampa gittiğimde filtreden tek bir damla su akmadı. Eşyalarımı özenli kullanırım; temizliğine, bakımına, ıslaklığına kuruluğuna dikkat ederim. Neyse, şırıngayla tersten su basarak açmayı denedim. Olması gerektiği kadar olmasa da su gelmeye başladı. Hiçbir şey yapmadan kurumasını bekleyip güzelce paketine koydum. Kısa bir süre sonra kampa götürdüm ve aynı şekilde tek bir damla bile su akmadığını gördüm. Herhalde 15 yıla yakın kampçılık hayatım içinde bugüne kadar satın aldığın en kötü üründür.
