MAXON CINEMA 4D R15 Studio: A Tutorial Approach Illustrated Edition

Informative read. Enough pictures to balance the boring stuff.

When I bought this book, it had not yet been reviewed. I should have waited for a few reviews.The book if full of screen shots of the program interface. Almost all of those figures are almost impossible to see clearly. Dark grey rectangles with no contrast. You can barely make out what the screen image is supposed to be. Why would anyone in their right mind release a book this ugly and unusable? The author is using a graphics program every day, he must know how to improve the images so that you can at least see what is supposed to be represented.Besides the unusable figures, the book suffers from the defect of being written by someone who doesn't appear to be very concerned about making anything beautiful or pleasing. The 3D models are mostly pretty generic or ugly. Lumpy cartoony figures etc. and a supposed ice cream cone that looks more like a cow plop.The book is a complete disappointment.

No help at all. Just step by step tutorial with a massive lack of creativity.
