FlipBelt Zipper Running Belt, Waist Pack for Fitness and Running, US Company

Going pandemic crazy, I needed to get out and exercise (safely.) I started doing what I call "City Hikes"... I live downtown in one of the larger oldest cities in the country, and the main streets have inclines and declines with uneven sidewalks that can be somewhat challenging for a somewhat older person. A 3+mile hilly walk in under an hour can be an ok cardio exercise. I like to carry a lot: my smartphone with the MapMyWalk app on it, which both records and reports to my headset throughout my "city hike": my varying rates of speed, the degrees of elevation, my heart rate as well as distance covered and my speed right at that moment. Being a very cautious person - I carry with me all my critical keys including my car key, a major credit card, ATM card, garage pass, Driver's License and some hidden folded cash. I also carry 2 spare paper masks, 2 pairs of nitrile plastic exam gloves and several sealed SONO hospital-grade equipment wipes. I also carry my glasses and a water bottle I can drink from, particularly in this heat. But not only is that a lot to carry but downtown in an old major metropolitan area is not always the safest place - at least not in my neighborhood. Thefts occur even during the day. After quite a bit of research, scouring Amazon's site and trying a few items, I came up with a combo of items that make carrying all this effortless and as if I weren't carrying them at all, feeling as safe as possible and able to just focus on my "hike." I put in the items listed below (except my phone) in the various pockets of the FlipBelt Level Terrain Zipper Edition https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CH0CXQO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I was between sizes and found the larger one more comfortable - and though it slipped a bit, not by very much, tighter was not as comfortable. WRT my phone, Sinjimoru Phone Grip Credit Card Holder with Phone Stand ( I chose the silicone version), works perfectly on my Samsung Note 9 in an Ottebox Symmetry Case. Though the product pictures primarily show just using a couple of fingers to hold the phone - it actually stretches enough that I can put my whole hand through, holding the phone in my open hand so I can look at the phone face to see the map or whatever other info I want to at a glance while I am speed-walking, without fearing I may drop the phone, no matter how I might shake it. Now, I am female and with relatively small hands for 5'3" but there is still a lot more stretch room left for a larger hand -- but the material stays very snug around my hand, without cutting off any circulation. As an extra precaution, I use the Sinjimoru Phone Grip in combination with "SHANSHUI Phone Lanyard, Neck Strap and Wrist Tether Key Chain Holder Universal for Phone Case Anchor" https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B083158CBJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 using the wrist band lanyard. The Shanshui Lanyard is amazing; I can dangle the phone by the lanyard and it stays attached. (There is no adhesive in this product, yet with the right cell phone case, it seems amazingly safe.) I prefer to put the credit cards, Driver's License, cash, etc in the zippered pocket of the FlipBelt rather than in the cardholder of the Phone Grip, tho I am sure the cards and cash would be safe in the Phone Grip. I just feel it is much less likely that a thief would be able to steal the Flipbelt off me in broad Daylight than perhaps in a fly-by action - cutting the lanyard *and* pulling the phone and phone grip off my hand at the same time while running by - tho I sincerely doubt the latter could happen with any feasibility. I fill them half full with my bottled water and freeze them. When I take one out for my "city hike", I fill it up with my chilled bottled water from the fridge. The bottle fits snugly and very stably - because of the curve - in the FlipBelt pocket - easy to pull out and put back in. And in this heat, the ice helps keep me slightly cooler - but honestly, the ice is all melted and the water almost normal temperature by the end of my walk. I am soaking wet at the end from sweat; so is my Flipbelt - but everything else - in my FlipBelt or my hand - is absolutely safe and dry. And I walk with all the speed and flourish I want because I feel like I am carrying nothing the whole while... free as a bird :-) I hope this helps!

Pros: comfortable, lightweight, holds a lot of stuff, doesn't slide around, washable. Cons: can be hard to get bottle back in when I wear the belt, a large phone probably would be too big a stretch. I purchased this product for running; I needed a belt that didn't slide around, chafe, and would be comfortable when loaded up with my phone, keys, ID, etc. It meets all my needs better than I expected. Because it is fabric with no hard plastic bits, keeping it clean is as easy as adding it to my next load of laundry. Outside of running, I've worn this all day at work hidden from view under my teeshirt. It was so comfortable, I forgot it was there. This product is available with and without zippers and I have one of each. I use the zippered one for running to prevent items from slipping or sliding out. The other is perfect for activities that are less bouncy.

Definitely worth it. I love mine. Feels nice and snug when I run. I ordered a small and it’s perfect. Doesn’t bounce or move a whole lot when I’m running which can be really annoying. This one stays put! Fits my phone and keys and isn’t bulky. Super easy to wash. Highly recommend!

About me: I'm a 5'4" 115lb female runner. I bought a size medium, though using their guidelines I would have been a small. I use this for everyday runs (not races). What I like: - Super comfortable. Not too tight, but doesn't jiggle, bounce, or make my shirt ride up. I don't even notice it when running. - Zip pocket holds my iPhone 13 and keys comfortably. (I don't use the other pockets because ultimately they aren't secure enough for my liking) - The bright color increases visibility, making me feel a little more secure. - Quality. I've sweat like a pig, washed this, and stretched it up over my hips dozens of times in the past 6 months and it isn't stretched out, no stitching has come undone, and it doesn't trap odors. What I dislike: - Sizing seems a little hard to calculate. Some people went down a size, I went up a size. It's perfect for me to wear on my hips (not waistline) - The non-zip pockets are not secure. I lost two items. I wouldn't put anything important in the non-zip compartments. I think unless it's a huge item like a water bottle or package of gels, it's iffy. I would not put a cell phone in there at all.

Works great. Snug and keeps all the gear in place. I highly recommend. I use it for long and short runs. I honestly forget it’s around my waist.

I tried a similar waistline product with an adjustable buckle that was promising but still left me wanting better so I decided to give this a try. These are my initial impressions after two runs. I am a 31/32 waist so I went with the medium and found the fit to be snug but not uncomfortable. The temperatures were between 85F to 88F degrees with one of the days being fairly humid. My phone is an iPhone 11 max and I use a case with a credit card holder on the back. It’s somewhat bulky so I removed the phone from the case and stored it in a ziplock bag. I used a smaller ziplock bag for my license, credit cards and cash. I also had the 10 oz. bottle which I threw in the freezer for a few hours before my runs. And lastly I had my key fob and wedding ring. I put the phone in the zippered compartment and wore that on my back. I had the water bottle inserted through the openings and over my belly button. The cards/cash to one side and my ring and key fob attached to the clip on the other side. There was very little movement during my light trail running. I kept feeling around to make sure I didn’t lose anything along the way and whenever I slowed for a sip of water but all items were accounted for. The water bottle wasn’t overly difficult to remove while running but it was trickier getting back. I’m sure it will get easier with practice but I just slowed up up a bit so not an issue. So after about 16 miles combined on the two days and found this to be the best solution I’ve tried thus far. I tried running tights with a phone pocket but my phone has worked its way out and fallen to the floor on occasion. The arm bands are super uncomfortable for me so I gave those up a long time ago. I had been running with just my watch and AirPods leaving everything else in the car but now I don’t have to. The cons for me are the price but like most everything made specifically for runners, hydration vests, etc., they all seem overpriced. And the belt probably weighed 2-3x more after running than when I started. It soaks up sweat like a sponge. The ziplock bags worked fine so I may use another for the key fob just to be safe. This worked great for me so I may get another for the wife. I end up having to carry her phone and other things when we go out and she wants to leave her purse behind. This can be worn underneath most clothes without being seen so it’s much better than a fanny pack.

Perfect for running or walking. It holds my water, keys and phone. It does not bounce around while running. Love it!

I’ve been using my FlipBelt for a couple of months now and love it! I can fit multiple energy gels in it as well as a hydration flask. I usually take a 5 oz. but used my 8 oz. today for a 10-mile run just in case I needed the extra water. The 5 oz. fits a little easier but the 8 oz. was not too much of a problem. I just wedge it in the opening and then slide it until hidden. I like the soft flasks better than hard ones as they will curve to the body and also lose size as consumed, unlike hard ones which stay big and can poke you. My Samsung S21 easily fits in the zippered pocket, which I then rotate to my back once I turn on all my apps. This keeps the other goodies more easily accessible in the front without losing pace. The FlipBelt is also easily machine washable and I even put it in the dryer half the time without issue. The size chart was accurate for me and I’ve had no problem with it trying to slide down past my waist. Well worth the purchase price.

For reference, I am 200lbs 6ft size 34 waist (Athletic built) and I ordered Medium. The chart online recommends Large but the Medium fits me slightly better without feeling overly tight. I recommend going one size smaller than the recommendation. I commute to work by means of running: 10km twice a day (20km daily). This little lightweight belt is the best invention ever! I dont wear a backpack while running, the flipbelt is enough to carry everything I need. There is enough room to add my iPhone 14, my lunch (bag of nuts), spare boxer and socks to change at work, and work keys/pass. While running the object do not bounce around whatsoever, it stays firm around my waist. I wear my belt right below my bellybutton, but it has a tendency to slip up slightly. The pockets are easy to access during the run, but the first few tries can be a learning curve. Its a perfect belt to wear for a full marathon, loads of space for over 5-8 carb gel bags and phone. You can also buy the specific bottle that is made for the belt. I actually tried with a regular commercial Aquafina bottle and it kept slipping out. All in all, a great addition for any types of runners out there! Much more convenient than carrying stuff in your pockets or arm wrap.

Das einzige was ich ein bisschen blöd finde ist, ich habe Kopfhörer die noch mit dem Handy verbunden werden müssen und dafür gibt es keine Öffnung ( für das Kabel). Ich lasse den Reißverschluss ein Stück offen und das klappt super.
