What I like about this item is it's not like a leash at all. The part you hold on to is soft and comfy and the straps going down to the part that holds the baby are adjustable to my height so that I can hold my arms out below my waist and won't tire as easily. The part that holds the baby is soft & padded & the part that wraps around the baby is adjustable too to wrap snugly around baby and not rub under armpits. He is getting to strengthen his legs and keep arms out in front for balance. When his legs get tired, it's easy to use the handle so he thinks he is still walking.
