iCrimp Open Barrel Crimping Tools Works on AWG24-12 JAM, Molex, Tyco, JST Terminals and Connectors

I bought the IWS-2412 and IWS-2820 together, and the set can't be beat for crimping just about anything and everything (you'll still probably need one of those gorilla crimpers for those insulated terminals you can buy in any store). With these you can work your way down to the final size, and hand pressure alone means you can finely regulate the crimp. I don't like those crimpers that force you to complete the crimp before releasing. These are really nice, well made tools you can use for a lifetime.

Bought this wiring an efi system on a car. Struggles a little with 12awg, but it works well with a little effort. A little work to get it right with that size wire, but for thr price compared to other ones its amazing. I wouldn't get this if this is your profession, but for the do-it-yourselfer, its perfect. Definitely not worried about the crips pulling out.

Good tool to have in the garage

I used this to crimp the 12AWG stranded wire on some u-barrel pins on this Delphi connector that I also got off Amazon. Was going to get some connectors pre-wired but couldn’t really find a Quick disconnect pre-wired that I liked. This tool worked perfectly for what I needed them for. I would recommend this to anyone needing one.

If your looking for some crimpers and not looking to pay a high price. Stop looking these are it. They leave the crimps correctly made. My old crimpers I had to precrimp them and then use the crimpers. But these work without help or need of pre- bending. Thet just work. They work like the pair of engineer crimpers.

Had high hopes for these crimpers based on the product reviews. My first usage with them was replacing CAN pins from water damage in a 04 E55 Mercedes. The crimping tool didn’t seem to hold the sides of the pin tight enough to roll the top down. I used my Bluepoint set instead. I thought i crimp could be a okay manufacture tool replacement. Photos of white wire are from i crimp and the Green wire was from my Bluepoint PWC47 crimper.

If possible, I would rate at 4-1/2 stars. They make very professional looking crimps, just a little lighter duty than I would have thought. Otherwise, a great tool for the price.

But that's not true. Everything constantly shifts and falls out. The cable is crimped crookedly. I find it easier to solder than to use this

Made a couple of barrel connectors and it worked well.

I bought this crimper for making JST-XH connectors. This crimper is simple and has no ratchet. To use it with JST-XH you need to do it in two stages, one for the section that clamps the wire insulation, then move it back to crimp the area that captures the wire. I like this crimper because it allows the user control over the pressure and area you are crimping.
