I own the entire EKLIND product line of Made in USA hex (Allen) and TORX wrenches. Including the T-handle, L-handle, and folding models. In most cases, I own multiple sets. In my opinion, you can't buy a higher quality tool for the money. In this case, I bought the EKLIND 10509 Hex-L Key allen wrench 9pc set (Metric MM sizes 1.5-10 Short) because I just ran into a situation where my long-shaft T-handle and L-handle wrenches were too long. Performing bike maintenance adjusting V-brakes with minimal distance from a fat tire, the wonderful cushioned T-handle wrenches didn't work. The shorter EKLIND 10509 set was $9.98 during the Presidents Day sale. You can't beat a nine-piece set for under ten bucks, Made in USA, and built to last. I ordered it immediately. My two teenagers are increasingly needing hand tool sets of their own. I can't wait to build out hand tool boxes for them. For anything related to hex or TORX, I'm ordering EKLIND.

It's becoming increasingly hard to find classic allen wrenches ! Lately the trend is toward allen wrenches with a little ball on the end of the wrench for, I guess, people who aren't able to fully insert the wrench. (?!) I don't don't know. The balls are ridiculous and tend to snap off. Finally I found these fine quality allen wrenches without the ball ends. Sometimes changes aren't for the best. Stick with these tried and true ones.

They are just what I wanted. I thought I had lost the one’s I’ve had for many years. As soon as these were delivered I found my other ones. I chose to keep these in case I misplace my old ones again. Getting old is not as fun as I thought it would be.

I needed some short handled hex wrenches to fit in my saddle bag from time to time (especially the 6mm for thru axles) and tried to get by with some dollar store wrenches that were machined awful and too short to get any torque with. These are much much better—super high quality. Just short enough to stash in a small saddlebag but long enough to give decent torque. These are nice enough that they may end up being my shop set. Although for the bigger ones you’ll need a longer handle for things like crank bolts or pedals. But for bottle cages, stems, seat posts and thru axles, these are great and the machining is very high quality.

Why is this blue. The keys themselves seem built/machined well and I'll always buy Canadian or American when possible, but why blue. They are metric, therefore the holder should be red as per industry standard.
